Mega Slowbro could definitely be better than people think, especially if we get Rain Dance blastoise reprinted. Being able to hit 200 damage like that is definitely a good thing, and even if we do move to a meta with more megas you can run a few Giovanni's Scheme to ensure you can hit most megas.

Personally I'd want to try and find a cheap attacker to run alongside in case somebody shuts off Yanmega's abilities. As Yanmega is built around attacking for free you could pretty much run anything there.

I always thought we were allowed to use Trainers that got reprinted as Items (non-ace spec) as Items are identical to Trainers, but not the Supporters or Stadiums that don't say such on them because they function differently and don't have the little rules/guides on them?

Primal Groudon is a personal favourite of mine as well, and I've made sure to hang on to a set because of how fun and strong it is. In a slower format it would be much better, with Night March not being able to catch you off-guard and with Vespiquen getting a nerf. Ninja Boy is a fantastic card...

I know that, I just mean it's not really 'fair' if the only recent versions of these cards we can get are secret rares, so I'd expect a reprint of both personally. Are there other cases where the only print in rotation is/was a secret rare reprint?

Realistically we need to see reprints of VS Seeker and Enhanced Hammer too as their last prints in the next Standard format are purely Secret Rare copies.

After Steam Siege could this deck perhaps be stronger with Xerneas BREAK and Geomancy Xerneas (XY Base / Steam Siege) instead of Darkrai? As Xerneas BREAK essentially has the attack of Darkrai-EX but for {Y}{Y} and the ability to accelerate energy, plus it's an evolution and non-ex to get around...
