SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

The ten commandments aren't even really very christian. Depending on how you interpret the new covenant of Jesus, they can be anywhere from moderately useful guides to living to completely defunct. Even then, using minor religious iconography (A commandment is literally just an order. The fact...

SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

They don't have a 3 energy cost on their attacks, except for dawn wings, except you're pretty obviously using that for the ability.

SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

There are better options, like buzzwole, pheromosa, Dawn Wings... No reason you should be using xurkitree.

How are you going to fit mallow, zorua, and zoroark into a buzzwole deck?

SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

Beast energy is proof that "Great Ball for Ultra Beasts" didn't need to be as bad as it was. The non-GX ub's are mostly just bad. 1 energy for a 60 snipe is good, but the rest is awful. Xurkitree kind of has synergy with naganadel GX, but as soon as you actually manage to take a KO with...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

4 of them suck, but Solgaleo and Lunala are both pretty good.

It really won't. It only works on stage 2's. You need to have 3 stage 2's out at once. You can only use Super Boost Energy once. For a stage 2 to be good, it can't really have a heavy attack cost without some kind of acceleration because you already have to invest two more cards into getting...

Discussion Why do people not play Marshadow SHL?

The only time you need extra draw support from your pokemon is when you're looking for combo pieces. Shuffling your hand back into your deck and drawing cards is vastly inferior to drawing up to a certain number when you're trying to pick out your combos. Then you consider the fact that...

Zoroark/decidueye is pretty big as far as rogue decks go. The only issue with it being its evolution requirement, which leafeon fixes.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Is the translation for torterra wrong? The card clearly says 180 on it for the second attack, not 100. That sounds really petulant. Thanks for the translations, just wondering. Pal pad makes Garchomp less awful in standard, but you'll probably need to run 4 lele's with it. Even then, that 3...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Wicke's character design heavily emphasizes her tits with the sweater and the boob window in her lab overalls. The people making the card artwork didn't "Do" anything "To" wicke, she already had a heavily sexualized design.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Abomasnow is cute, but we have aqua patch. Water is certainly not hurting for acceleration. Spiritomb is, likewise, cute, but supporter recovery isn't something you need until late in the game, and if you're spending a turn using your attack to recover supporters that late in the game... that's...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

I think Skyla was a bit ridiculous, but Wicke and Mars are fine. The character designs of Wicke and Mars already emphasize their breasts to a large degree. The cards are just emphasizing the already emphasized parts of who they are, like how Cynthia's art emphasizes her hair and long coat.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

It depends on the set as a whole. The total price of all singles in the set is capped at the expected value of return of a box. But given what we see right now, she'll probably be around the same price as guzma.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

There's a bigger issue than that. There are no cards that let you get stuff out of the lost zone. There never have been. That's why it's the "lost" zone.

That's not what they're saying. Play prism star from your hand, attach, then ninja boy into a good Darkrai. Now prism star is in your deck and can be used again.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

You CAN, but putting a 180 hp mon in the active after you've spent a few turns setting up energy on your bench, then using an attack that does 0 damage in order to stack up energy on yourself just so that you can get one-shot and lose all of that energy is bad pokemans.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Solgaleo GX with water energy and this guy. It's possible to use palkia in standard, but that seems a lot weaker than solgaleo/salazzle/garb, so I don't think anyone will really use that approach.
