    Standard "Steeling the Show" - M Scizor-EX

agreed. Both can have their place in the deck, just depends on your local meta I guess.

    Standard "Steeling the Show" - M Scizor-EX

I don't see how I'm bickering. I was wondering the logic of Lugia over Garbo. The setup comment didn't make sense to me which is why I asked.

    Standard "Steeling the Show" - M Scizor-EX

How does it take Garbodor too long to setup vs Lugia? Unless you're hitting max elixir or running DCE it takes just as long.

    Standard "Steeling the Show" - M Scizor-EX

Oh I dont plan on using silent lab. I just understood your reasoning behind it. I play on playing Garbodor over silent lab. Tool removal is almost non-exsistant so I'd rather run a 2-2 line of him than silent lab and octillery

    Standard "Steeling the Show" - M Scizor-EX

I don't know if I agree with the reverse valley over silent lab. Sure +10 dmg is always nice to have, but what's the difference in hitting for 120/130 in one turn or 240/260 in two turns? The only advantage I see with it is OHKO of Volcanion. But with silent lab in play, I'm not worried about...

    Standard Glaceon-EX / Jolteon-EX

If you miss the KO, they're only healing 30 dmg from rough seas. Hardly enough damage to prevent a KO next turn. If you don't have the pokemon available from running Hoopa's then your M Ray deck should be re-evaluated. Regardless of Sky Field or not, it's either a 1 or 2 turn KO because Rough...

    Standard Glaceon-EX / Jolteon-EX

TBH I'm not even sure the actual decklist we're talking about. If it's a straight Jolteon/Glaceon EX DL with no additional support/counter pokemon, there's nothing more to talk about. A 2-2 line wont hurt you, but I still think having Pokemon Ranger in almost every deck will warrent not...

    Standard Glaceon-EX / Jolteon-EX

How are you figuring Pokemon Ranger does not kill this deck? I understand every deck has a counter. This deck in turn is a counter deck by all means because of the pokemons second attack and its effect that prevents damage from either basic or evolution pokemon depending if you played Glaceon...

    Standard Glaceon-EX / Jolteon-EX

Still no. With Pokemon ranger around this deck is dead.

    Alt. Format M Gardevoir/Giratina (2017)

I agree with what was said above. Drop M Gardevoir. For the 2 prizes it gives up and energy it takes, plus additional cards to make it work (Gardevoir, Spirit Link, M Gardevoir), Xerneas/ BREAK is a better combo

    Darkrai-EX / Giratina-EX / Garbodor

Problem is now, with Pokemon Ranger, even Giratina can't save you. AND if they run Ninjaboy, they can attach to Shaymin and Ninjaboy to a Joltik for an easy OHKO.

    Darkrai-EX / Giratina-EX / Garbodor

Fright Night Yveltal is dependant on the DCE. Yes NM will run a hammer and Xerosic to ward off the special energies, but I feel like NM is more dependant on Teammates than Xerosic to get the KO rather than a stall. It would be an interesting tech for Darkrai/Tina decks
  14. PokeDad5

    Darkrai-EX / Giratina-EX / Garbodor

You'll still lose if they run FFB. Baby Yveltal won't hit for enough damage. To be honest, best attack would be to hit with Tina on a Shaymin for 100. Can't retreat or attach a tool without playing Pokemon Ranger. Gives you more time to setup another Tina. Problem is, once Pokemon Ranger is...
  15. PokeDad5

    Darkrai-EX / Giratina-EX / Garbodor

Dark/Tina decks will struggle with NM until it rotates regardless of Pokemon Ranger or not. The fact that most Dark/Tina decks dont run energy removals allows NM to attach a DCE/turn knowing they wont be removed. Yes Pokemon Ranger does come into play, but at what point is that person going to...

Alt. Format Houndoom/Volcanion/Empoleon high damage deck(2017 rotation)

Volcanion EX's ability scares me for the simple fact that it can be countered really easy with a Hex or Silent Lab. You have ways to get around silent lab, but a Hex play per turn will really slow this decks damage output down.

Standard Over the Rainbow (Xerneas / Marshadow GX / Drampa GX / Tapu Lele GX / Bisharp / Galvantula )

I see what you're doing. Seems like a wate to me, but I haven't tested it. I guess I'm just questioning the EX choices on the bench to hold the energy for Xerneas attack. Wouldn't it make better sense to have wailord on the bench to hold the energy since his HP's are so much higher and the...

Standard Over the Rainbow (Xerneas / Marshadow GX / Drampa GX / Tapu Lele GX / Bisharp / Galvantula )

Giratina seems pretty useless without playing Double Dragon energy

Standard [Future 2017 Format] M Rayquaza and Jolteon EX

If you're going to run Mega Turbos, I highly recommend maxing out Ultra Balls and Professor Sycamores to give you a better chance of having energy in the discard pile. Now, that being said, if you're only running 2 Mega Turbo's, your chances of hitting one or 1 being prized really kills that...
