    Darkrai-EX / Giratina-EX / Garbodor

I can see the deck being more consistant without Giratina, but I feel that leaves you wide open now vs NM decks.

Anyone done testing for this deck against item locking decks and Jolteon?

    Standard Glaceon-EX / Jolteon-EX

I agree. It's really just statistical at the larger tournaments. Your top tier DL will see more play because they're the most consistant right now and have the best chance at winning you rounds. That being the case, you'll see more top tier DL than anything. But that's not to say you wont...

    Torchic/Volcanion EX

This has the potential to do a lot of damage. The only issue I see is a simple play of Hex every turn will completely shutdown this deck with no answer. So, that being said, you would need an additional attacker or some backup plan.

Standard Dennied! Metal! (M Scizor / Garbodor )

You just have to be careful with Garbodor and be smart about playing it. If you're looking to shutdown Greninja's abilities, then yes Garbodor would be a great play, but I wouldn't throw him in just for one DL. If you run Aegislash, then Garbodor will hurt you more than help you especially...

Standard Dennied! Metal! (M Scizor / Garbodor )

I don't know what you're trying to block with Garbodor so early in the game. A simple Hex T1 really slows down a lot of decks and they can't Xerosic out of a hex like they can Garbodor

I think you'll be surprised at Nats.

    Standard Glaceon-EX / Jolteon-EX

A 1 of is never a waste when it becomes a situational play, but in the case of Umbreon, I feel any good pokemon play is smart enough to see what you're going to try to do and OHKO it the turn it comes out. Also, Mega's are not uncommon. M Ray is a very popular deck right now and I wouldn't be...

Standard Dennied! Metal! (M Scizor / Garbodor )

Without Mega Turbo or Max Elixir, if you go second you're wasting your turn to attack because you have no way to attach a second energy. In a meta that's built around hard hitting, quick setups, you have to attack on the first turn you're able to attack. If you play NM, you're literally in the...

Without Hex your deck my be subject to auto loss to Vileplume, or Trevenant, just because you run a heavy line of items.

    Trevenant BREAK

Problem is now with N, or even a Judge then, you then shuffle your Shaymin and DCE back into your deck which will stall/ disrupt that tactic.

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

I agree with ToToLaw. While it seems to make sense to be able to use the attacks of any pokemon by mew, you're sitting there with a low HP pokemon that can't heal. You'll be in a prize race in the meta and you'll be losing by getting OHKO'd with mew's up front.

    Gotcha. Thanks for the clairification.

    Trevenant BREAK

I must not have understood the rules totally from the different card games I've played over the years. I assumed that because you're attacking, damage is given and the effect of the card and making and addition active would be the final steps of the turn. Damage would have been destributed and...

Attach bursting balloon, Tree slam, good night Shaymin

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

I get the strategy behind this and it makes sense, but it's all based upon chance. Chance you don't start with hoopa as active, chance you hit your max elixirs and chance that you get lucky on the rolls. Not saying this cant work, but like you said, you have to be explosive and go all out T1...

Discussion What should I play for Nationals?

Like ajbroski said, you're about 50/50 if you play NM against any matchup.

Discussion What should I play for Nationals?

IMO, with the recent spike in cost of a Greninja Break card, shows signs of its popularity. That being said, Toad/Tina would not be a viable play against Greninja since the cards you listed above are staples of the DL and the only thing you'd be able to use would be super scoop up.

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

I would think with the Meta of item locking decks, specifically one in particular that not only locks a very dependant and item heavy deck like this, but also for the fact that you're weak to one of the item locking decks (VV) which can get item lock T1 and create a lot of havoic if you can't...
