Discussion Is Karen the Death of Night March and Vespiquen?

At this point, the only thing I see killing night march is the rotation.

    Discussion New Energy Options?

So it's been confirmed, PC on next year? Though Bronzong might be spared because it's been printed as a promo.

    Discussion XY11 Xerneas BREAK Deck

Crazy deck idea. 4 of these, 4 Geomancy Xerneas (it's being reprinted this set), 12-14 basic fairy energy, 4 Max Elixir, some energy switch, 4 Exp Share and several draw and search cards (items and supporters). Ideally, you'd go second so you can attack first. Get as many Elixirs off as...

    Discussion Night March Counters

Overall, I agree. The only way to make it work would be to ensure the active is unable to attack or retreat (Bring up a Pumpkaboo w Lysander). An overlooked strategy for dealing with Night March is Pokemon with the Delta Plus Ancient Trait (take another prize). I haven't tried it myself, but...

    Discussion Raikou in Standard

There's Mega Manectric. I don't have any lists currently, but it might be less clunky than Magnezone. Energy switch would be good to move energy off of Manectric after retreating to the bench. Max Elixir would also be good (especially if you're playing all basic lightning energy) and does...

Japan's XY11: 'Explosive Fighter / Cruel Traitor', CP5: 'Mythical / Legendary Dream Holo Collection'

Shiftry's not bad. Attacks are decent and it's grass typing means it benefits from Forest of Giant Plants.

    Discussion XY10 M Alakazam EX

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but Devo Spray and Max Potion could be good here.

Discussion Cards To Resurface or See Play

A few more. Forretress (FF): Very overlooked card. Has ability that spreads 10 to all opponents Pokemon when evolved. Forest of Giant Plants and Super Scoop Up is a neat combo that can allow you to spam several Thorn Temptests in a turn. Where is has the potential to be broken is with...

    Garbodor's partners

Those are all good options. From the newest set, I'm thinking of Mega Audino EX. M Audino EX – Colorless – HP220 Mega Evolution – Evolves from Audino-EX When 1 of your Pokemon becomes a Mega Evolution Pokemon, your turn ends. [C][C][C] Magical Symphony: 110 damage. If you played a...

    Discussion Evolutions Being Neglected Again

*sigh* With Muscle Band rotating, it looks like they want to go back to big basics being the attackers and evos being bench sitters.

    Discussion Medicham Viablity?

There is a way around that, Shrine of Memories from Primal Clash. It let's you use the basic's attack (20 for F).

Japan's XY11: 'Explosive Fighter / Cruel Traitor', CP5: 'Mythical / Legendary Dream Holo Collection'

This is a neat mechanic. Solid attack and a cool ability to boot. Though please TPCI, STOP making effects that only benefit basics. All it's doing is limiting combo potential.

Discussion Anyone Else Notice How Corrupt the Metagame is Right Now?

I don't think Night March would have been nearly as bad without Fighting Fury Belt. The low HP kept it balanced making it a lot easier to deal with, but the belt puts them out of range of things that would have destroyed them in the past (delta plus pokemon)

Discussion Anyone Else Notice How Corrupt the Metagame is Right Now?

The only card I see being too powerful is Trevenant BREAK because of item lock Trevenant from XY. Trevenant was balanced because it's attack required 2 attachments (even with Valley), but it's BREAK gives it a ridiculous spread attack that would have been powerful even without item lock. It's...

    Partners for Omastar BREAK?

Aerodactyl from the same set can do 120 and discard a special energy for a DCE. Regular Omastar's ability helps get it out, giving you 2 easy prizes against benched Shaymin EX.

    Discussion Lugia Fates Collide Applications?

Aromatisse/Xerneas decks? The damage reduction combined with max potion could be hard to take out in one hit. And if they do, you only give up one prize.

Fun The Top 5 BREAK Pokémon

Disagree. Why? Because one of the Carbinks has Safguard, which carries over into it's BREAK evolution. That plus (special) energy acceleration and cheap damage should make for a solid card. Though I do agree that Trevenant is the best BREAK.

Discussion Partners for Kabutops from Fates Collide?

That one caught my eye too. With Focus Sash, you could protect yourself from one hit knockouts and with enough boosters and heal cards, bring yourself back to full health. For damage boosting, we have Regirock EX and Strong Energy, and for healing, there's potion and maybe Jynx? idk

Fun The Top 5 BREAK Pokémon

Good list. I wasn't sure about Wobbuffet BREAK when I first saw the spoilers. It reminded me too much of base set gastly's destiny bond. But this makes a good case for it. The Wobbuffet/Hoopa/Alakazam combo is a good one. There are two others I think are going to be good, Bronzong...

Discussion Cards To Resurface or See Play

The retreat would be a problem, especially against Trevenant BREAK. Maybe a couple of AZ or a small Zoroark line?
