Wanted to learn more about the TCG/get into the community. Now it's 3 months later, and I'm still here.

RE: Nickname Censoring in Pokémon X / Y I assumed that you couldn't rename the Pokemon since it's not your OT once it gets to XY. I had a Ditto named and it obviously reverted it's name back to Ditto. But I haven't checked in-game to see if I could rename it, but I doubt it.

Not nescessarily hacks, but legal Pokemon created with outside programs are getting through. It's a legality checker, but that doesn't mean blatantly hacked Pokemon won't get through, as long as they look legit it's fine.

This is my current setup: Box 1 - Favorite/Random/Battle Pokemon Living Dex Last 3 boxes - 2 boxes of Shinies and my Wonder Trade box. Pretty simple. Once I finish the Living Dex, I'll probably trade off/giveaway a lot of Pokemon and organize by type/dex number or something.

RE: The "Merchandise Help" Thread If the price is too good to be true, then it's probably a bootleg. Also if it's shipping from China, that's another giveaway. I honestly wouldn't waste my money, and would just try to find the real thing.

Hoping for a Wifi distribution as opposed to a Gamestop/TRU distribution... getting Speed Boost Torchic was so much easier when I could just download it from the comfort of my own room. Plus it sucks for people that don't have a GS/TRU in their area, and they're unable to get the Pokemon...

What would be a good trade for Darkrai EX, Mew EX (Legendary Treasures FA), and Dialga EX? They're on my wants and I'm wondering what kinds of cards would be enough to trade for those, if that makes sense.

Random question: I haven't played Yugioh since 2003, how has the game changed/evolved since then? I used to play in RL and then stuck to playing some of the GBA games (Stairway to the Destined Duel mainly). It would be great to get back into the game (or just play some of the older cards/decks...

RE: Your Shiny Hunts? I gave up on shiny hunting in Y for now. It was fun doing it pre-bank, but now that I have all my shinies I'm content for now. :P Still gonna try to (eventually) chain for Shiny Skiddo eventually, or trade for it. I have a few shinies I'm not really a fan of that'd I love...

I wouldn't trust anything your friend says about that Pokemon until you check the Lugia w/Pokecheck. And Wild Meloetta in the wild? Sounds hacked to me... there's no glitch that does that.

Do they have legal movesets/abilities? Or were they hacked? Sometimes if you 'create' a Pokemon and mess up the location/date met, it won't go through.

RE: The "Merchandise Help" Thread No problem! Pokevault and Sunyshore are both great stores regardless of the prices. I've bought from both and have been really satisfied. :)

I'm about to transfer my last box of Pokemon. It only took an hour and a half. I really wish the process could be sped up... oh well.

It's also kinda funny because once I transfer all my Pokes over, I'm most likely never going to use Bank again (at least for this gen) :P

FINALLY. I'm not a fan of how long it takes to transfer Pokemon. I'm almost an hour and a half in and I still haven't transferred all my Pokemon from White. Oh well. I'm just happy we finally have it!

Maybe they're thinking of Pokecheck? They finally cracked the 3DS, but they've only been able to figure out the Battle Video function (for their site) at the moment.
