Lucario gets treated so weirdly in the tcg. It gets lots of love in the form of getting lots of cards and often even multiple different multi prize cards(3 V's, 3 ex's). Yet it doesn't get live because they are always bad. Why make 3 different copies of a card and not make any of them...

I mean aren't the majority of cards underwhelming? They already have Pikachu and Hydreigon ex in this set that are good so we can't have any more good ex's we wouldn't want too many meta decks. Everyone has to play the same 5 decks. We wouldn't want variety making it's way into our game.

Well ya? Why wouldn't a basic ex have similar power to a V which is also a basic 2 prize card?

Well there are a lot of people that think the power creep has ruined the game but it hasn't. Different doesn't mean bad.

The game is going to change and evolve. Power creep is only a problem if it negatively effects the game which it hasn't to this point. Much more than power creep has happened in the past 15 years and the game is still thriving and still very enjoyable. Don't let your nostalgia ruin a good thing.

I don't know about other people but I've had pretty consistent success with Dragapult since it released. Plus it getting used in Regidrago shows that the 200 damage plenty which was my main point

Do you really need more than 390? You're not getting 1 shot for sure except in a few pretty rare occasions. Even 340 with Bravery Charm instead is pretty hard to get in 1 shot. Jasmine's Gaze probably won't see that much use either. Maybe a 1 off to stop a key knock out but it's not the best use...

I'm not saying they never should've made them I'm saying why make them now? Especially with most alt arts looking as good as they do. I don't need 3 different prints of a card. Give me regular and a cool alt version.
