Serena is not going to stay after XY ends. People say this everytime a new female companion joins. People thought May and Dawn would last more than one gen too and they didn't. The writers have never kept characters more than one generation since Johto ended, so there's no reason to expect it now

I won't rate XY yet till its over, so excluding that: Kanto/Orange > Hoenn/BF > DP > Johto > Unova. I feel there are some things each saga does better than the others, so its hard to rate them entirely.

The oddest episodes are usually ones where a random Pokemon plays tricks on the gang, or everyone acts silly for whatever reason. I don't know why WPM picked that particular episode though, but I imagine its because he hasn't watched much of the anime since the DP era.
