I like collecting, too. I don't play the game often, but that's mostly due to a lack of friends with any interest. :P Also there was a huge gap where I stopped playing, so I have a lot of old cards and a lot of new cards; there's some sets in between I've missed. I feel a bit stupid collecting...

RE:   Misunderstandings and Mistakes. This misunderstanding comes up so often when I play with my friend. We argue every single time. Does anyone know the official ruling for this? Because each attack seems to cancel the other out! *head explodes*

it would add the damage if you were Dark Metal, wouldn't it? if a dark pokemon with a dark energy attached used swift that usually did 30 it would do 40 instead, right?

a question about metal energies... if somebody uses swift or something that says 'not affected by any other effects on that Pokémon', and the pokemon has a metal energy attached, is that counted as an effect?(i.e. the damage would not be reduced.)

yeah, I'd prefer not to let everyone know. over here it's not really that big, the only people i know of who play it other than me is my bro and my friend, and that's enough people for me. the card game and the gameboy games are the only things i like, i actually hate the anime and the games...

oh ok. yeah, I never bother. I should i guess. it's mainly because I have no sleeves to put them in but also because it would make it hard to play with, like shuffling and drawing and that, or if it was a prize you'd be able to tell it was an ex, etc.

Oh yeah... My Ninetails is peeling at the top. If i'm using it in a deck and shuffle my cards the other cards get wedged inside of it. :( So many victories with that card (when I used to use it..) :/ And Jade, I don't really mind about the condition but thatnks for telling me. :) It's pretty...

For 36 cards?!? You can just buy 4 boosters and get that much for only $24...

My friend's Charizard got cut up into seven pieces by a little girl, haha. Also, my mum threw out one of my brother's entire decks... however we managed to get most of the important ones back... Just wondering if anyone else has had relatively good cards destroyed... ?

lmao, I think I did the worst trade ever, so don't worry. I don't remember all the cards I gave, but it included me giving away Mewtwo, Victreebel, Muk, Zapdos, Cloyster, Snorlax, Nidoqueen and Venomoth (among others) all for a crappy promo Mew. I don't know why I did it... :(

totodile etc were the best out of the starters for the neo series, i thought. Chikorita and Cyndaquil were pretty crappily designed, as was Blaziken. The originals were the best. (I liked Charizard, though not coz i thought it powerful.)
