It's an interesting card...against decks that aim to two-shot, its basically an auto-win, but against a deck that can do 200 DMG in a turn, it's an underwhelming Stage 2. This thing really hopes Choice Band doesn't get a reprint?

The energy cost is definitely far from ideal...to be fair though, it can 1shot regular GX's and can actually hit things for weakness. The energy cost (as well as Necrozma's special energy attack bonus) makes me think we'll be getting some new type of special energy or energy support for Psychic...

Misty's Request certainly makes the Chatelaines a lot better, but what about Whitney? Add 2 Whitney's w/ Request, pitch them with Dedenne GX and make your remaining Whitney's live? Could be good for drawing hands for Stage 2 Decks?

Weavile's ability on a Stage 1 is so good...especially with the new Dark City. Combined with Acerola and Max Potion, makes the new Mega Sableye & Tyranitar TTGX basically immortal (unless they're hitting for weakness)

I would disagree. Blacephalon can discard from ANY of your Pokemon in play, which means it can pick up surprise knockouts by discarding energies on the bench. Furthermore, it's a basic and its attack only costs two energies (which means a single Blacksmith makes it ready to go.) Magcargo GX...
