Discussion Predicting The Metagame For Nationals

Maybe i am he first guy who finished reading all of these?;) i really like your idea of Entei/garb, but i am not sure whether a 2-2 garb line with 2 float stone hurt entei speed and consistency. also, entei depends on using blacksmith, then shaymin ex for draw, so garb slow entei a lot too...

Discussion Predicting The Metagame For Nationals

Giratina variant, Wailord stall, quad Entei entei deck isn't that bad against greninja actually, it will lead by 2 prizes usually at first, can hit 130 easily, hit 170 probably (2 muscle band), high HP to force a combination of shuriken and attack for KO, one prize attacker. secondary attacker...

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

bad idea. all pokemon is this deck can utilize rough sea to heal and manaphy ex for free retreat, so as to prevent KO. Mew just gives out prizes too easily

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

of course starting with Hoopa ex is not ideal, but unlike other decks that you got to dig for the one of Az, or 1-2 of float stone, all you need for free retreat is a water energy and a Manaphy ex on bench. the water energy attachment does seem like a waste on Hoopa ex, but the 3 energy switches...

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

against Greninja, the goal isn't item lock them, or set a Glaceon ex to lock the attack damage (water shuriken is an ability, which passthrough the effect). Go explosive T1, try to set articuno with fighting fury belt, it usually does 70 damages by tri edge (all I ask for is just 1 head out of 3...

Discussion What should I play for Nationals?

other deck worth considering, which made top cut in my national: Toad/Tina hammers, super scoop up, team flare glunt, xerosic, team aqua secret base, +/- slowking, this deck is the most annoying deck to play with imo. Water box (you guys call it toilet deck?) core is seismistoad ex, with...

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

thanks the most popular sceptile ex variant is just M sceptile ex, maybe with jirachi, virizion. regice handle it very well

    Water Toolbox - Seismitoad-EX / Manaphy-EX / Articuno

i make top cut in national using water toolbox. I swap the Aegislash ex with Glaceon ex. I didn't face any vespiquen or sceptile ex though. imo Suicune is unnecessary, as rough sea handle Trevenant well already. if you can set a Glaceon ex u auto win too. there's not much Wobbuffet can do. I...

Discussion Meta Decks That Can Beat Jolteon-EX/Glaceon-EX Lock

let me guess, Wailord stall? to OP, actually YZG doesn't care about the lock, they have a wide range of attackers, Yveltal, Yveltal EX, Zoroark, Gallade.

Standard Vespiplume (Vileplume/Vespiquen) - US Nationals

the new turbo toad deck that won german national plays one aegislash ex, swap that mr mime with toxicrock ex otherwise you autoloss. some play 2 level balls, some play 2 revitalizer, they both has advantage over the other, try it out to see which one suit you most

Standard Vespiplume (Vileplume/Vespiquen) - US Nationals

why Seismitoad ex? assumeu set vileplume up it's item lock already. Toxicrock ex maybe an excellent counter to Aegislash ex, otherwise it's autoloss

    Entei / Charizard-EX

Volcanion ex does look like a better partner than charizard ex, boosting entei damage output over 200 (+ muscle band and/or belt), even the first attack may hit 100. You want to discard fire energy anyway (for blacksmith) so they have the synergy well. But it still can't solve the Jolteon EX...

    Trevenant BREAK

good say my friend from what i observe across the europe, straight trev yield the best result. no bat, no gengar, no aegislash, some even no wob. weakness policy has conflict with bursting balloon, and if you play one copy, how do you dig it out in dark deck match up? if you play more, it hurts...

    Trevenant BREAK

i found weakness policy conflict with bursting balloon. Say your active Trevenant has a weakness policy attached, every bursting balloon you draw immediately becomes a dead card (you don't want to attach it to bench pokemon...) but with out waekness policy, this deck really lost to majority of...

    Standard Speedy Entei-Emboar

whats is the plan against Jolteon EX? Hex is you answer to Greninja, but still, it's a very unfavourable match up to you, once a Greninja break is set up, it OHKO every attackers and snipe your bench.
