That could be true. It also says on the Horsea card (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon) and so, for it to not be a number, it must have a different way of damaging in battle.

Well, in the collector's album versions of the Horsea, it just says "This attack does 10 damage to 1 of your opponents Pokemon". I am just wondering why they did not just put 10 damage next to the move instead.

Have Pokemon with moves that are NOT set with the amount of damage next to their move sets? I was looking at the Collector's Album I had received from the event yesterday and two cards, Horsea and Seadra, both have Water Arrow. There is a description that says it does 10 and 30 damage...

Efforts like that do not have to be rewarded; however, I would have let that kid have a pack of whatever he wanted. By giving him a pack, it would have shown your 8 year old what it is like to give (not necessarily that they will get anything in return for being nice); however, people like that...

Very true. This was just based on the card's attack alone without any "special attacks".

I never knew. The only event I went to, with these card giveaways, was the one with the clefairy and the meowth. The pikachu and magikarp I completely missed and the Cosmog never really had anything to go for. I mean "draw a card" for a move? I always thought the album was like a little book...
