Just a quick question about Raikou. His attack,Volt Bolt, states that you must discard all electric energy attached to him, but does this make you discard all special energy as well, like prism or blend? Trying to make an Empoleon counter for Klinklang

    Empoleon

True, that was all worst case scenarios. Garchomp is actualy an even matchup, but the reason I favor it more is the fact that the stage 1 is easier to get out than our stage 2. Empoleons built in draw-power only works if you have the stage 2 out, and is gone once he is killed. Gabite, on the...

    Empoleon

^ I'm sorry to say that feels overly optimistic. I would love it if Empoleon was that good, but Ekeels is pretty difficult if they restrict there bench size and have many attacks that don't require more than one or 2 Eeletrick. Klinklang/Hydreigon is a horrible matchup considering they can...

    Blastoise/Keldeo deck

Nah, it takes away a lot of your energies, and nothing with revenge kill you anyways except the rare epo Virizion.

    ChariBoar (Charizard/Emboar deck)

They run mew Ex, and that will always kill your Mewtwo. Of course you can revenge kill for 2 prizes, but it requires much more planning. Frankly, there is no counter for Empoleon for this deck, but either Zekrom or (I still advocate this) Kyurem-W with prism energies works ok, albeit being very...

    AGGRON DECK IDEA

Sableye could help with streaming Devolution Spray, teching him in with dark could be useful

    Blastoise/Wailord

Add SSU and Energy Retrieval, they help recover Wailords.

    Darkrai/Hydreigon...Help w/ techs

Dark Deino > Dragon Deino because people will be playing regular Rayquaza. I would run another Dragon Hydreigon for the nv Hydreigon, and add a Sigylyph to deal with Sigilyph, and he can stall pretty well. Also, I would rather run Big cloak than Rescue Scarf since it prevents most KOs except for...

    Serperior/Cresselia EX (BW-ON) needs help.

I would run Pokemon center over Asperita just because you want to 1 hit un eviolited Mewtwos

    Raikou Eels

You might want to add another Eviolite or maybe Tornadus EX to deal with the Terrakion/Mewtwo decks that will be popping up, though I have no idea what to take out. Maybe an energy or Raikou?

    Serperior/Cresselia EX (BW-ON) needs help.

Cress's attack gives her no weakness, which prevents a Mewtwo KO in most situations. He has to have 6 energies on him to KO Cress

    Raticate & Amoongus

You would definintly catcher or skyla a catcher for killing the one with an energy and if not you might not even attack, just wait until you can get a catcher

    Raticate & Amoongus

The point is to use Amoongus to poison from the bench to take that last 10 damage with poison.

    Raticate & Amoongus

Try some more tests, see what happens when they do get set up. Also, what happens when you run out of DCE or raticate?

    Raticate & Amoongus

Well, the extra 40 hp saves you from the genies and makes it harder on Empoleon. Also, can you say how you beat Zekeels? Unless he out down a ton of Exs it seems like a very difficult matchup

    Raticate & Amoongus

Speaking of, if you don't run Tornadus you can run the stadium (asperita gym) + large cloak to get Raticates hp up to a manageable 100.

    Wow... Updated post

    Groudon/Terrakion-BW-on

Honestly, I would make this DRE or before, instead of playing that he ace spec so that you can use this for Battle Roads. Also, you have 15 fighting but it says you have 13, not sure which one is right. Also, I would run more exp share, just to conserve your energy.
  19. Lumos77

    Raticate & Amoongus

To avoid Garbordor, you can play tool scrapper, or Cather him up and use Raticates first attack.

    ChariBoar (Charizard/Emboar deck)

But you need the energy. I personally still advocate Kyurem-W, but if you don't want to, I don't know of anything else.
