Never a fan of full art mega because of the big description bar across the card. But on these old card template they look kinda neat, even better to place it at the bottom, above weakness, retreat and resistance. I really like the look of the full art supporter cards.

They should give all cocoon pokemon a relevant powerful ability since their attacks are weak. Alternatively, they could've improved this Kakuna further by keeping the coin flip. For heads damage is reduced by 80 (or prevent any damage), for tails damage reduced by 40. Something like this...

Layout is similar to HGSS series with a lot of space and the small text size for the attack descriptions. Looks like they're making space at the top as well. They would then be able to shift the pokemon name a bit to the right and add the 'Alolan' Prefix if need be.

So Alolan variety of pokemon are from gen 1 pokemon only? If so it might continue for the 8th gen. So in gen 8, pokemon from gen 2 will get their Alolan variety but ofcourse named after the region.
