Yes, the pack art DOES influence sales. Also, it influences what cards you receive when buying booster packs. For example, long ago, I bought 2 Scrafty packs and 2 Excadrill packs from Dark Explorers, I pulled 2 Holo Volcaronas, Holo Blissey, and Holo Haxorus. All holos pulled in all 4 packs...

Entei EX and Raikou EX made the cut into Dark Explorers, but why not Suicune? Was Suicune completely forgotten,will it come in future sets, OR was it Kyogre's fault ? :(

What I don't get is that shouldn't players who buy Black 2 get White Kyurem and players who buy White 2 get Black Kyurem? Did GameFreak ignore the Yin-Yang thingy? This was the case for the original Black and White. Why not this one? I don't know, just something interesting to throw out there...
