I was just thinking. With SM7 coming out this august, that would mean that SM12 (usually the last TCG set) would come out 15 months after that, being november 2019. It only makes sense then that Gen 8 (the real new core game for Switch) arrives late 2019 instead of 2018 because of this.. Right...

Thank goodness. For 1 minute I thought these were going to be the core switch games.. As if GameFreak sold their soul and went full Pokemon Go just to sell units, but the real games arrive in 2019 apparently. The ''Go'ish'' games will be good in the mean time :)

Well put. And that's what I don't like that much about these cards compared to the artworks of the old days wit a more 'loosely drawn' style of the Pokemon in picture. Wish that would come back someday in a new set, and not like in Evolutions with the exact same cards reprinted. New artwork...

Well, artwise these prism cards are interesting, being somewhat minimalist especially compared to the late EX and GX cards. However I really don't like the big prism in the middle. Would have to see one up close for final judgement.
