'Explosive Impact,' Japan's SM8 Set; Raises Questions About Switch Release

Don't really like how they keep on making 'shiny' sets this block. Keep it special please.

Major 'Pokemon Switch' Rumors Today -- A Breakdown and Analysis!

For real? Can't find anything about that. Please explain yourself. Well, new Pokemon or not, it won't be enough to stop Lt. Surge's Raichu from Thunderbolting your team to death time and time again at only the 3rd gym ;) (unless they fix that for the new games of course)

Major 'Pokemon Switch' Rumors Today -- A Breakdown and Analysis!

To be honest, I really don't think there will be any ''new'' evolutions/Pokemon. I think they're just saying old ones won't be excluded. It was made pretty clear that these games are 'just' appetizers that try to keep things simple and click with the Pokemon Go hype, hence my initial...

'Explosive Impact,' Japan's SM8 Set; Raises Questions About Switch Release

Well, not the design obviously, or Pokemon Silver would not have been anywhere near as populair back in the day ;) It also is a bird, as stated above (flying type) so totally different, besides the name of this attack.

News 'Lost Thunder,' America's November Set!

Jup, agreed. Too much (collector speaking), and just too much of the same. GX, FA GX, Rainbow Rare, repeat repeat repeat, yawn.. Shining Legends is still my favourite from this block.

    SM7a 'Fairy Rise' Announced!

Yeah, no, those 5-ban graphics still don't do it for me. I'll probably never get used to it being a fan of the old Ken Sugimori art, but hey, things change. Mina FA looks pretty nice :) At least the Ultra Rare trainers from these days are way more interesting than they used to be.. Remember...

'Mega Charizard X vs. Mega Blastoise Battle Arena Decks' Announced!

Exactly this, plus it features M - Charizard X (and M Blastoise), the first one being a clear kids favourite (my son and everyone around him loves it because, well, it looks awesome and is a Charizard). These type of products are just meant for a different group of Pokemon fans. Won't be buying...

    Pokemon Top 5 favorite Pokemon

Nice, cool post. I'd have to go with; Slowbro (do I have to explain why?) Tyrantrum (always was a fan of Jurassic park, so yeah.. ) Ho-0h and Lugia (Grew up playing Gold & Silver. Best legendary's to date in my opinion) Venusaur (because it is a dino-frog-flower done perfectly right) edit...

    Zeraora-GX from SM7a Revealed!

I was just thinking. With SM7 coming out this august, that would mean that SM12 (usually the last TCG set) would come out 15 months after that, being november 2019. It only makes sense then that Gen 8 (the real new core game for Switch) arrives late 2019 instead of 2018 because of this.. Right...

Major 'Pokemon Switch' Rumors Today -- A Breakdown and Analysis!

Thank goodness. For 1 minute I thought these were going to be the core switch games.. As if GameFreak sold their soul and went full Pokemon Go just to sell units, but the real games arrive in 2019 apparently. The ''Go'ish'' games will be good in the mean time :)

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

That is one ugly Pokemon 'Ultra Lunala'. Didn't really notice that until now. Looks like a transformer.. Sigh.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Well put. And that's what I don't like that much about these cards compared to the artworks of the old days wit a more 'loosely drawn' style of the Pokemon in picture. Wish that would come back someday in a new set, and not like in Evolutions with the exact same cards reprinted. New artwork...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Interesting that she didn't design Jolteon and Flareon then.. Well, always liked Vaporeon better anyway so cheers! Cool artwork on the Eevee card btw.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Sharp. And you just made me realise that Rotom is just Motor reversed. I wonder if they did something every Gen since Ekans and Arbok.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Well, artwise these prism cards are interesting, being somewhat minimalist especially compared to the late EX and GX cards. However I really don't like the big prism in the middle. Would have to see one up close for final judgement.

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Would like to think this indicates a Sinnoh remake because we are expecting it and it's the only older Pokemon gen I really don't remember that well. Next year would also mark the 11 year gap, the same as with the R/S remakes. But then this set would be releasing in nov. 2018 instead of...

News 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon' Review Copies Out, Some Spoilers!

Ehm, no. If that would be the case than every ''normal'' animal (from frogs to bears) would have to be pure normal types, so a blue frog like Greninja for instance would be a normal type. Even Moltres/Zapdos/Articuno would have to be normal types by that logic because they are birds. Safe the...

News 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon' Review Copies Out, Some Spoilers!

Exactly. That's what I'm afraid of too. This idea of regional forms was simply brilliant and could make a lot of Pokemon from many gens interesting again with little effort but they already drop it in the same Gen it was invented in? But we do get more Z-moves (yawn) and Ultra Beasts, because...

News 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon' Review Copies Out, Some Spoilers!

Well, they should hand out 'create a Pokemon' sheets to fans then. Wouldn't that be awesome? I've seen tons of fakemons around the web that are a lot more inspiring (both in design and typings) than most of the stuff Gamefreak drops lately.. Ultra Beasts were the moment to give us that...

News 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon' Review Copies Out, Some Spoilers!

Still a bit underwhelming to be honest. Just 4 ''real'' new Pokemon (not counting the pre-evolution and the new forms of Solgalea Lunala and Necrozma). I know this is still better than Black and White 2 but I think this time it's different; They could have done some more with Alolan forms being...
