Mega Salamence and Pidgeot would be great - but let's not forget there are still plenty of XY Megas (those preceding the ORAS additions) who have not yet realized their TCG dreams. I tend to think M Pinsir or M Beedrill might be in this set, as there has been a slight lull in Grass ("Grass")...

Maybe the new mechanic will be non-EX megas? Although...that seems like it would be stepping into BREAK territory.

Very impressive...though I'm not really into Expanded (joke!). I wonder how many of us out there have enough junk common cards we've pulled to build something similar (talent and skill aside, of course).

My guess as to why these Kanto character cards have been showing up recently is that they want to give a little acknowledgement to the RBY download/re-release. But, it does seem a little arbitrary.

I feel this Aerodactyl is superior to Aerodactyl-EX and its Mega...although that's not saying too much.

I love the designs shown - the vehicles (pokéball ambulance, etc.), the Slaking Motel (it seems to be?), and the large building does seem reminiscent of southern France as others have pointed out...but, who knows. The general vibe seems like a laid-back, fresh-air kind of environment to me...

Perhaps Clefairy is preparing to reclaim its rightful role as the mascot for Pokémon...

I so hope it's a new main series game...if nothing else, to give VG life to Zygarde's formes and Magiana/Magearna (or whatever it is). But...I'm setting my expectations low as I've been burned many times by these announcements. Nonetheless, I am still hoping for awesomely amazing exciting news!

I've also heard a rumor that Bug type attacks will now be super-effective against Poison types, and vice versa. Also, Ghost type attacks won't affect Psychic types at all! Such progress!

I want to note that the text on the de-evolution spray states that you can't evolve that (same) Pokémon on the same turn you use the spray (though you could put the evolution you remove onto another 'mon). Some of the exciting strategies I've been reading don't seem to take that into account...

I've been wondering when they'd make a new Mandibuzz card - it's a nice bonus to get a BREAK while we're at it.

I wonder if we'll get some BREAK-specific items/supporters this time around. Also, it bothers me a bit that Lugia BREAK, a basic BREAK, has more HP than Florges BREAK, a stage 2 BREAK (that takes a lot longer + more draw "luck" to play).

I wonder if Lugia BREAK will be able to utilize Fighting Spirit Belt. It's not a stage 1 or 2, but I'm not sure if it'll still be treated as a Basic... Likewise for Max Elixir.
