I don't think Gastrodon will be able to counter Kyogre anymore with his new prime form... Rayquaza also deserves a prime form, being linked to the Kyogre and Groudon. Well I guess Arceus will eventually get a mega form as well to not be overpowered by the new primal formes.

Mega Houndoom and Venusaur seem to work well together covering each others weaknesses. I could switch out Venusaur when threatened by a fire type attack and switch in Houndoom activating flash fire, then mega evolve... Although I may swap fire blast for flamethrower for the better accuracy...
