I like this idea a lot. Like @AuraJackle said, a Flareon AOR to turn into fire *really* helps to deal with that accursed owl. Vaporeon and Jolteon both give some very useful type advantages in the meta.

I kinda like Acerola more than Az. It gives you the same prize denial that Az did, but it also doesn't lose the attached cards, which is awfully nice to keep that energy and FFB you know you're going to want to use again.

You can only retreat once per turn. Other effects that switch pokemon, such as Solgaleo GX, Keldeo EX, and Zoroark, do not count as retreat, and can be used as much as the ability/effect allows.

We don't really know what kind of releases (if any) these Best of XY cards will get in North America, so there's no good answer as yet. I'm putting my money on Shaymin not getting a reprint though; Tapu Lele seems like a new format followup.

"Investment" in Pokemon cards is not really a safe thing. With the notable exception of some of the popular pokemon, such as Charizard, or Secret Rare cards, Pokemon doesn't seem to hold it's value very well. If you're going to jump in, do so for the fun of it, and consider it the admission fee :)

I would say a q-tip and maybe some rubbing alcohol would work, if they aren't completely covered in grime. Probably want to take the cards out of them first too :)
