I think Gladion is a good filler, just have one in your deck in case you prize something important. Also the art is great. About the greedy dice, you can't pick it up with Gladion (well, you can, but it wouldn't work) and you need to re-shuffle the prizes, so not good for that either.

I got 2 of my pokemon KO'd on the very first turn once (which means before an attack could be made) in Expanded with an incredible amount of Forretress (Flash Fire), luck, scoop ups, devolution sprays and a lot of items to pull from the deck. The guy ended up with like 12 cards left by the time...

I prefer tech cards over powerful attacks, so maybe a Whimsicott GX? Maybe a Sableye GX, too.
