The information in the article is incorrect. The cards aren't errata'd versions of the banned cards, they're explicitly mentioned as entirely new cards according to the announcement in the official japanese website. They still have C regulation marks though, so should rotate alongside the final...

Pure speculating, but i wouldn't be surprised if that Japanese remix set coming in a couple months brings it. I'd be weird to only get charizard and blastoise as gxs, but no venusaur (and I think the same with blaziken and sceptile having a gx, but no swampert)

I mean, not really going against your argument but there's no info about the typing of Buzzwole&Pheromosa iirc; it could very well be a grass card (which would have interesting implications, with the support grass already has) since both are Bug/Fighting.

One thing I wonder: How will promos integrated into our main sets (Lunala and Solgaleo, Hiker and Masked Royale from Celestial Storm) work in this scenario? Since in Japan they're from the "A block", yet we got them on a set that has mostly "B block" cards... Guess time will tell, would...

Ohh, I really like Energy Spinner! Another reinvention of Energy Search, but with a twist for first turn. Not sure how playable it might be though, only deck I could see it being a clear addition is probably Alolan Exeggutor lol.
