This is a bit of an aside, but I've often felt that the main way to make evolution decks viable would be to not count stage 1/stage 2 cards in the 60 card deck limit (provided that those stage 1/stage 2 cards also have a basic evolution in deck -- so trumbeak wouldn't work). That won't happen...

Latios-GX is really designed for M&M tagteam (or in expanded, with all the fighting bonuses for Marshadow-GX toolbox). Gets around the annoying ability requirement and also allows you to switch attacks as needed.

M&M spread damage deck copying ttar-gx? Maybe still too hard to power up attack cost. Thinking of other stage 2 gx's which would be interesting to copy.....newgaleo does help with energy acceleration, but with dce rotating that won't help much....

Any thoughts on age appropriateness of the movie? Would it be too scary for younger children (mine are 9, 6, and 4)?

After thinking this through, this can't work -- the shining celebi just says "can use the attacks of previous evolutions" which I think is different from having the attack.

Rules question: If I have the regular Persian in play (with the ability that makes Pokemon with cat day not need energy cost) + shining celebi in play can the evolved forms that have the cat day attack not need energy to do their attacks? Would make for a very interesting incineroar deck.....

That weezing will be a very interesting and useful addition to a spread damage deck. Given the format is pretty basic heavy right now......I like it.
