I enjoy how there's always an effort to feature mostly competitively viable Pokemon on these cards - they're cute and fun for competitive players to look at and reminisce when the format's in the past ❤️

Their abilities are what make them good and they're completely different. Speaking of the Latias ex, I do think it's interesting how they're creating more support specifically for Basics, but also a few anti-Basic things. Not sure how to feel about it. It's a fine Pokemon IMO. I'm just glad...

The cards have great art and some potentially interesting effects, and I LOVE the ability names of the Loyal Three. My only complaint is the Reverse Holo pattern looks bad. I'm glad it's just for this set.

I know these aren't for players, but seeing D and E block cards in a new product is still a bit goofy (though the E one is jumbo anyway).

Sometimes they do end up being good, there are multiple examples of this throughout PTCG history. It just kinda sucks when it happens because meta cards being hard to obtain is bad for the game.

Promo cards generally aren't supposed to be competitively good, which is a good thing.
