RE: The "I pulled something cool" topic. At my last pre-release I pulled Blaziken FB Lv. X and Garchomp C Lv. X in my first six packs, and then pulled another Garchomp C Lv. X in my final two packs. Blaziken was a gift from heaven, and both Garchomps are gone in anticipation of the tins. :D

"Easy" decks have been around since the beginning of the game. Personally I find that Haymaker is a million times easier to use than Machamp, Gengar, or Beedrill. Besides, you still need still to play the three decks that you mentioned. The ability to read is a really weak argument, seriously...

Did you ever play Lass with Cleffa? The combo was devastating! Now, Pokemon Center and Item Finder were nice...but it really sucked pulling those as your rares. Same goes with Special Darkness and Metal Energies before the basics were out...when else do you pray that your rare is an energy?

I finally finished my Base Set collection a while back, but right now I'm focusing on Jungle/Fossil/Team Rocket and everything from DP-on. Mainly just have some LvXs to go in most of the newer sets.

Glad I could help! :D It is a really beautiful card. It makes me regret leaving the game before these types of cards came out. The reverse holos now look so bland compared to this.

And unfortunately, the Pojo Base list hasn't been updated since '04. In fact, those Jungle and Fossil lists haven't been updated in seven years.

The cards from the first few sets are pretty worthless nowadays. Aside from a few cards, you can get most holos online for less than 80 cents. Charizard might net you around $10 on a good day, a bit more if it's 1st Edition. Otherwise, I just finally finished up my Base/Jungle/Fossil...
