The new Pokémon is, in my eyes, no relation whatsoever to Absol. Does anyone have a screencap of the animé trailer image?

I'd say it's likely not. The Absol image above the 3 new Pokémon is part of a page, whereas the image with the other Mega Pokémon is clearly an unfolded poster, separate to the actual magazine pages.
