My point exactly, Pokemon like Alakazam or Jolteon cannot even learn Earthquake. EDIT: And it's not like the lack of Earthquake is preventing little kids from being moronic with their Pokemon. CB Blissey doesn't need EQ xD.

Any special sweeper that can learn EQ should probably consider running it, anyways. One example is Typhlosion, who I would usually never give it EQ because other Pokemon need it more badly. With this new addition, I don't have to worry about that and I can use my Pokemon to their best potential.

You realize they have to make Pokemon unique, yes? Giving Shimama the exact same eyes would be like giving Feebas the same eyes as Magikarp.

That's true but still, Pokemon is about exaggerating characteristics of real-life animals. I love the colors of his eyes, personally, and I think it represents his electric-typing well. I love my avatar, btw, thanks xD EDIT: That Snake thing would be so cool if it were Dragon/Poison.

I know... ^_^ And Ponyta's eyes are essentially coal. I'm not sure why Shimama should have those, I think his current one's give him more personality as an electric-type.

I think a lot of these new Pokemon have the personality that many older generations of players have been craving since the first generation. I don't understand all the hatred. Even if you don't like the design of Hihidaruma, just look at it! It's full of personality.

Publishers do not oversee all the development of well known franchises like Pokemon with trusted developers such as Gamefreak. I know things seem suspicious, but you are nitpicking. Go ask an Activision representative if they know every song on the next Guitar Hero or every map/feature in Call...

My understanding of this is the source could not reveal "official" artwork for artistic licensing reasons, and so he found the best fan art and posted it. I don't think he literally meant it IS beta artwork, but rather a good interpretation to represent what Gamefreak has designed.
