    LostGar (Seniors, States)

Have you played this against other decks? Generally the strategy with LostGar isn't to take prize cards. That's why LostGar decks run so many Twins. Outside of that... Drop a few (or maybe all) of your Bebe's Search. Those valuable Supporter placements are usually better put with Seeker or...

    LostGar (Seniors, States)

It's kinda hard to read the deck in this format. Deck lists are supposed to be posted like this: 4-3-4 Gengar Prime 1-1 Palkia G Lv. X Ect. That's probably why this wasn't reviewed very much. I'm limited on time ATM but I can look at this further and review it some more later.

Luxury ball goes well with Junk Arm, but that's only a nice little added bonus of using Junk Arm in a deck (for Gyrados or something). Otherwise it's just trading that card in for whatever pokemon you want.

2 Decks - Which one is best? [Seniors, Any]

Well usually I review LostGar, but I take it you're not looking for advice. First of all, run special dark energy as long as you have darkness energy in there. Run the MD Eevee. Only time that card would hurt you is against a really fast LostGar. Otherwise it's the best Eevee for an...

    LostGar :: Seniors :: States

alright, there's a lot of advice being posted on this topic so I'm just going to base my comments on the list that's posted up there on the top. Absolutely run 4 Seekers. They are one of the 2 mandatory Supporters in this deck. They force pokemon into your opponent's hand, which by itself make...

LostGar (Gengar Prime, Curse Gengar, and Gengar Lv.X)

First rule I always say in a LostGar deck is not to run any Gengars other than Prime, or any cards intending to do damage. If you spend your turn attacking (or deck space on attacking cards), you're trying to complete 2 goals at the same time, and your opponent will out-pace you. Especially in a...

    LostGar (States,Masters)

Well like I said it's good to discard fluff from your hand to get more cards from Uxie or something. I wouldn't drop the Lv. X. It's pretty good against Lv. X decks. Hopefully, with the Twins and Rare Candies and Rescue Energies and everything, you should be able to always be able to have a...

    LostGar (States,Masters)

Deff. go with the speedy option. Other decks play around the trainer locking better than LostGar can and you want to start LZing pokemon as fast as you possibly can. Your deck plans seem pretty solid for being your first attempt at it, it's much better than mine was! XD Also, I wouldn't run any...

BW/BW2 Get your in-game teams rated!

RE: In-game Team Rates Making a team for a competitive tournament thing at an anime convention I'm going to. The rules are that we can use any pokemon, but only 1 of each pokemon. We can also only use legendaries that are not event-only (limiting them to Giratina, Dialga, Palkia, Groudon...

    Lostgar (Gengar and Lost World)

he's saying Dialga is a problem because Dialga can use Deafen for the match, which both Trainer and Stadium locks you. It slows down your deck considerably and makes it so you can't play Lost World. It is actually a major threat to this deck.

    Lostgar (Gengar and Lost World)

....what? Looker's investigation gives your opponent the option to draw UP TO 5 cards, and most people who know how to play against LostGar are going to draw fewer than that. This has hampered my progress before and there's no way to play around it unless you can force cards in their hand...

    Lostgar (Gengar and Lost World)

Run 4 and see if you have an energy problem. One thing to keep in mind is that after you play your first one, they all become dead draws after that. They're gonna fluff up your hand and net you fewer drawn with Uxie. Also in a mirror match having pokemon stuck in your hand (with the limited...

Lostgar (Gengar Prime, Palkia G, Mr. Mime CoL)

Do not take out Uxie Lv. X. This deck needs all the speed it can get to go against other top tier decks, and Uxie Lv. X is one of the best speed engines in the format right now.

lost legends (palkia g lv.x and gengar prime) masters, states

You don't need to do damage in this deck. Your goal is to put pokemon in the lost zone. If you try to complete 2 goals at once (KOing pokemon and LZing pokemon) you're going to be slowed down considerably. Make the focus of the deck entirely lost zoning.

    lostlock! states, senior.

Just a small side note: you don't mention if you are or not, but make sure you run the Gastly SF. It trainer locks for a turn for no energy. BTW if you didn't look it up, Flygon Lv. X does 150 to a targeted Pokemon Lv. X, so even benched ones.

lost legends (palkia g lv.x and gengar prime) masters, states

Well this deck is actually a really popular new one that's usually called LostGar. The main strategy of the deck is to actually take no prizes at all and to get your opponent's pokemon in the lost zone as fast as possible and then play the stadium. The one thing you should change about your deck...

Run 4 Gastly SF. As long as your stuck with only a gastly active for a turn then you might as well trainer lock. Haunter is a bit more subjective, but I think the TM Haunter is the best still. Doind damage is a bad thing in this deck but I've gotten really lucky with putting the other pokemon...

    LostGar (Regionals, others)

Yeah the prime concern is of course Dialga Lv. X. Just getting it out of play and into their deck would be pretty nice. I'm not really that familiar with a LuxChomp deck, does Gengar Lv. X slow them down at all?
