Bushiroad's Weiss Schwarz card game just uses stock images and anime screen shots for most of its cards. YuGiOh basically doesn't even do alt arts, just alt foils for 99% of cards. Pokemon at least goes out of their way to put the model in a cool pose for these and they tend to be textured nicely.

I highly doubt dark Pokemon will return, dark pokemon existed in the early era because of a lack of Pokemon to make new evolution lines out of and existed in Gen 3 mostly to flesh out the dark type and allow for more dual type pokemon.

I'd actually say it's not that likely that ex are retired soon, my theory is that after 20 years of experimenting with multiprize mechanics, ex was likely brought back because it's versitile, 2 prizes can be any stage, it has no special mechanic like GX Pokemon and as seen with Tera ex Pokemon...

They're increasing supply to meet strong demand, how is it not sustainable? If demand weakens they'll lower production.
