Yup. Especially when GX evolution cards can use tools. Strong Energy + Muscle Band allows it to hit for 70 and discard an energy. Not bad at all. Plus he's also got a great weakness, not a lot of grass types in the meta.

I don't get how Mega-Ray is good at all. Parallel City (which is a staple in almost every deck), just massively derails them. Yeah sure Karen helps but you still need to re set up.

Yea I've tried running black smith, but it seems pretty inconsistent right now. I'm not getting the draw supporters when I need it. I run 4 Sycamores, 2 Birches and 4 Vs seekers. Thinking about dropping the Black Smiths for more Birches.
