This is great because it gives people time to use their currencies (tickets especially) and get rid of their extra cards. Hopefully, they'll have Expanded ready at the game's release too now.

Wow, you can get 12 "DCE" in Expanded now haha... that's fully wild. And rainbow energy + muscle band + Moltres sounds really fun in expanded too. Also, Togekiss VMAX just got the ultimate buffs after these reveals haha

Um, is the Sylveon mis-translated? That seems a bit overpowered. It can always put and energy back to your opponent's hand?

There is no reason for them to get rid of the HGSS/CoL energies. They really should reconsider those.

True, but it's still very useful with Frosmoth. You can in essence free retreat now. And that means you can also max potion to heal too (in expanded). You just retreat and put the energy to hand (and heal if you want after), and then attach the energy back on that Pokemon.

Skate Park is really useful with decks that play energy en masse from hand like Frosmoth/Blastoise, Emboar, Magnezone etc. Not bad at all!

Yes and no. I've personally have hosted very real, officially listed unlimited format tourneys, yes. They're officially listed on Pokemon.com, but you can't win points towards the Play! Pokemon TCG season. For the events, I had deck creation rules and deck approval, so it was pretty fair :)...

They could literally keep it as is. Teaching a kid one unique card isn't going to confuse them for the rest of their life.

(Expanded talking points) I feel this in combination with Whales and Articuno GX could be a fun idea. Also, you could combine with the paralyzing Kyurem to get a 2 hit KO (with Frosmoth/Blastoise).

The ninetales card should have said "have no retreat cost". Otherwise, it's a worse Bewear/Dodrio.

I'm only interested if these cards suddenly became legal. Otherwise, I suppose it's nice, but not that exciting.

Am I the only one that truly doesn't like these type of cards, where Pokemon actually creates the archetypes on purpose? It seems like a really lazy way to play the game, especially when these decks beat well created decks.

But that's very good imo. Xerneas worked well with that amount.
