I like to know the full pokedex before I go into a game, because if I don't get it right away, at least I have knowledge of the new guys. But as for plot points and really secret stuff, I try to stay away from, unless by the end of the game I need help with unlocking/finding the secret stuff.

RE: Pokemon that look better than thier evolved forms For me, the one that comes to me the quickest is Mienfoo, I really don't like the coloration or the hair-whips of Mienshao.

I don't think they will, it will just be past off as "Hey we made another Mewtwo, this one comes with a new form as well" scenario.

I for one can say there can never be enough canine pokemon until I get: An ice/dark wolf. A ground/fire Dingo. A ground/dark African Wild Dog. A dark Great Dane. And a grass/ground Bush/Racoon Dog hybrid Pokémon.

They're the same Pokémon, but Honedge can sheath itself with it's scabbard (up top) and unsheathe himself when in battle, his ribbon like hand holds the scabbard during this time (below).

Yes that's cool. I agree with that origin. To me, I like the Honedge, sure the name and form is a bit left to be desired, but the scabbard design and idea of the Honedge itself makes me like him. The typing is awesome too and I do believe this Pokémon will get an evolution, but only 1.

Save that for an evolution. It's rumored Dunsparce, Stantler, Sableye and Mawile, will get evolutions.
