    RE: Shiny Pokémon in X / Y: Less Rare and More Special There's no doubt that the rate has been increased in the Friend Safari. I have found 12 shinies in 3 days, hunting on 2 games at the same time. The longest hunt didn't even take 500 encounters. Pictures: http://imgur.com/a/e5w9w
