‘Phantom Forces’ Officially Announced, New Set Details Revealed [9/8]

First, hah hah! That's a first for me.

I wonder if Malamar EX will be Dark or Psychic. Personally my money is on the former.

I hope Florges EX is better than the regular Florges we got.

Seven EX's in a set is a new one for this time. I personally think it has to do with the fact we have no 'new' Pokemon now aside from Diancie. This also confirms this set will not be giving us Diancie EX or M. Diancie EX. I wonder if this means there will be special release for it (like the Metagross one) or if we'll get it later on in a ORAS set.

Malamar, Florges, Gengar, Manetric, Aegislash, Dialga...yeah, that is only six. Okay, so maybe that doesn't rule out Diancie EX in this set but it still proves M. Diancie EX will not be in this set.
 
Thats cool we get nice Preview card basically from Gamestop in Oct :)

any word how much for it?
 
I hope the Florges-EX will feature the white flower Florges, I think it'll look better than the red or blue flower, and I don't want the yellow or orange flowers, since it'll just look weird with the pink from the Fairy type, can't wait to see them though. Love both Florges and Malamar, so I hope they don't screw them up. And yay Yanmega and Pyroar are also in this set! I think this might be my favorite XY set :D
 
Nice that we're getting another fairy EX. We are overdue for one.

I'm also excited about Feraligatr and I hope the other Gen 2 starters get their chance to shine.
 
I reaaaly want to see what the DialgaEX full metal thing looks like. Maybe they are going to do new art styles like full(insert type here)? I swear if there are fruity mentos on the card I'm going to... do something.
 
Feraligatrrrrrrr!! Yes! I am so excited for this set. Also, I might not even bother trying to build a Lucario deck and just go with Gengar.
 
I think we're definitely going to see Gengar and M Gengar EX played a lot. Against almost any deck, using their attacks for what may as well be 1 psy and a DCE is powerful. Good revenge killing. Or screwing with people.
 
I hope that Feraligatr is at least playable. Glad to see that Spirit Link cards will be uncommons, though I think at this point that M Gengar will be the next big thing. You don't end your turn to evolve it, and with Dimensional Valley you only need [P] [C] to attack.

The way it's described makes it sound like the gold Reshiram/Zekrom, but silver.

Stoked for Feraligatr, although I reaaaaaally wish he could the ex treatment as my second favorite poke of all time. Better be holo! Couldnt be more "meh" about florges and malamar, but it is a super strong set regardless.
 
One question I have though: Why is there Skittles flying around Gengar and M-Gengar? It honestly confuses me..
 
I still don't like Gengar and Mega Gengar. They seem really situtational. Gengar has a okay first attack, and an inferior second attack(To Donphan or Accelgor) M Gengar is a little better, but you don't know what you are playing against.

I'm so glad I got at least two. Maybe more, we don't know about full list yet.
 
I'm assuming the "Full Metal" Dialga-EX card will be like the gold Reshiram and Zekrom cards from Legendary Treasures, but silver instead of gold. I think that'd be awesome!

No way theyre finally adding Gen 6 EXs? Will there a Florges FA?! Also finally a new Feraligatr card!
