A new “Cynthia’s Garchomp ex Premium Collection” will release on June 13th for $39.99.
It will come with a full art Cynthia’s Garchomp ex promo, two foil cards of Cynthia’s Gible and Cynthia’s Gabite, six booster packs, an acrylic standee sheet, a double-sided backdrop display, a photo sticker of Cynthia and Garchomp, and a code card.

Bit underwhelming to see the stock Sugimori art for the standees (what is this, Ultra Pro? XDXD), but it's cool seeing them try all sorts of new ideas for these collection boxes. If I were to do the standees differently, I might have opted for individual scans of Cynthia and Garchomp from HICO KIM's SAR of the two of them, and scans of the others from sources other than the stock art!

Ah! One of my favorites! Idc if it's stock photos imo it's still nice to have more Cynthia merch in general. I appreciate promo products trying anything new so acrylics are kinda cool.

lol. Such a lazy promo. Reminds me of the one in the upcoming Lillie Premium Tournament Collection. Regardless, this product will still be devoured by fans.

weird sentence as the Lillie card and this card are the exact same type of card and their new alternative is also the same. Of course it reminds you of it when it is the same type of card?!

It is not different from any normal EX promo just getting a different pose. As always, they don’t force anyone to get these cards - but they are easier to get that way.

Not the first time it's happened, but it's still weird to have different 3D CGI artists for the two Garchomps. Seems like a lot of redundant work for marginal benefits.

Real 3D art heads know that Planeta and 5Ban are the Ken Sugimori of 3D ( they use the stock game models), and Eske Yoshinob and Ayaka Yoshida are where it's at.

15 years collecting and I can't think of one English product that didn't use the stock Sugimori art lmao

I will say, both PLANETA and 5ban were both super solid back during the BW/XY eras. But I think we gotta remember the real GOAT of 3D Pokemon cards: Ryo Ueda. His full art EX's during the XY era with that really defined cel-shading look is still my favorite thing they've ever done with 3D art. I miss it.

Really couldn't have just gone a bit further and done her full team with the standees? Anyway, I love roserade so this is pretty cool!

This full art promo 204 and the Mewtwo 205 alerted me to how these are throwing off my promo number counts for mapping the future sets/products… they usually have the build and battle promos (4) / the checklane blister promos (4) / then ETB promo(s) (1 or 2) all together in #s but now the gaps in known promos are far smaller than 9 cards…Do we think they would tuck these 2 partner ex and 2 partner Illustration (marine 206 and Stephen 207) promos in between the Build and battle and the checklane? Since 199-203 and then 208-212 are open…that’s 2 5card openings - watch them make the booster box topper a black star for this set or something wild but as far as my “math” goes we still have 1 unaccounted for promo in addition of the theoretical 4 Buildnbattle 4 checklane and ETB 🤷‍♂️ (this is literally all I think about 😂🤣😮‍💨)

The promos for the SV era will end with the numbers of the Illustration Contest. Haven't looked into it yet, but the Unova Set will probably hold a few more extra products (as with 151) compared to other sets and that's where your counter is probably off.

The contest promos absolutely *cannot* be the last SV promos as I said there are only 10 open slots before those contest promos and a new set is usually 9 cards for a core set - if we’re getting 2 special sets then 2 open chunks of 5 spots would make sense but rocket is a full set and we don’t have that may promo openings concurrently which is what makes me think maybe they are taking all 10 of those slots with them spit between the pre-release and the checklane and not consecutively numbered because if we could figure out where this rocket set AND b/w set promos are going to fit in this that would be cool:

195 Lillie’s Clefariy
196 “lenticular” Zard
197 ”slashing” Koraidon
198 ”slashing” Zacian
199
200
201
202
203
204 Cynthias Garchomp
205 Rockets Mewtwo
206 Marnies Morpeko
207 Stevens beldum
208
209
210
211
212
213 contest Feraligatr
214 contest Pika
215 contest Toxtricity

But as you can see from the DR Pre-Release cards: those are not promos anymore.
