It was meant as a joke. The water, ground, and grass are all strong in the TCG meta. But Fire mask is basically useless atm.

Oh, okay. It's just hard to tell who's serious or joking.

Lolzzzz TPC makes such odd decisions... if they really wanted to push ogerpon you think they'd include all the masks

Regardless this will be bought up just like everything else. Twilight and temporal are decent sets.

hold higher standards. this kind of tone **is** the problem.

I get what you are saying. They absolutely should make things with pretty art that draw more people to buy.
But at least the hordes of people entering the hobby to make money will skip this and the product will hopefully go to people that actually want to open packs for a reasonable price.

This is why I said 'for me' because these "low value" and "uncollectable" promos are what I enjoy. Not every box can be prismatic evolutions 15 eevee money box either ya know? People want different stuff even if you deem it bad in your own terms.

Many people love Ogerpon. It has a great design and a good story (for once) going along with it. Stop making a fool out of yourself for trying to twist things here. Even in the TCG it saw a decent amount of play.

Nothing says “great story” like a Pokémon whose tragic backstory is solved by handing out friendship bracelets. And on the TCG side, a “decent amount of play” means it showed up, waved politely, and got benched by every meta deck not running on seasonal affection and nostalgia fumes.

“Many people love Ogerpon” yep totally, when I see polls of favorite Pokemon I definitely see Tealmask Ogerpon on those lists… oh wait never mind I haven’t seen any gen 9 mon on any polls since gen 9 released, and Tinkaton/ Mewoscarada/ Flutter Mane would be easily the top 3 favorites of gen 9 at this moment at least. Back to the caves with you Skuntank, begon!
