TPCi previously announced a “Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection” would release on May 16th.
We can now reveal the collection will come with 15 Prismatic Evolutions booster packs, the “fruit dessert” Eevee ex promo, a rubber playmat, a set of card sleeves, a deck box, and a code card.

Japan released some Eeveelution accessories for Terastal Festival ex, so perhaps TPCi will reuse the art for our product.

A “Prismatic Evolutions Premium Figure Collection” will also release on September 26th. Its product contents haven’t been revealed yet.

15 packs of Prismatic Evolutions? Well there goes any chance of the average user getting their hands on it since we’ve clearly entered an era where a majority of the people actually managing to get anything is some form of cancer on the wider TCG community.

And as far as restocks are concerned I don’t think TPCi’s current strategy isn’t exactly working since stores and PC vending machines are cleaned of any notable products the day they’re get ‘em.
Hoping everyone (me included) is able to pick this up on pc before it gets absolutely destroyed by scalpers *crossing fingers*
Pokemon Center recently introduced a new queue system that kicks into effect whenever the site experiences high traffic, unfortunately said systems have a nasty tendency of being extremely vulnerable to bots.

*announcer voice* LETS GET READY TO RUMMMMBBBLLEEE

Godspeed to those who want this, let’s hope they print it to the ground. I was able to get the 151 one at GameStop so hopefully it won’t be hard

No matter what they are going to release. You won't be able to buy it anyway. Set it out for several weeks and all I got was three blister and a binder collection. No ETB no additional products even available in stores to buy. I assume in Germany it is even worse than in UK/US.

Ultimately, I think that Surging Sparks will be like Vivid Voltage, and Prismatic Evolutions will be like Shining Fates. They will get their reprints. When TPCi releases a statement about reprints, they go into overdrive. This happened with Hidden Fates, it happened with Champion’s Path, it will happen again now. And the G block will be like the C block and become very scarce very quickly. Honestly, Prismatic is mid anyways, it feels like an early SwSh set when it comes to hit frequency lol. It won’t be much longer that the stores have nothing on shelves imo

I’ve see. German products around - don’t think it’s worse here, just not better. I never understood the need of German cards (or any other European languages) though. I think we’d be better off with just English cards and use the printers for those.

The main issue with that is the pull rates, TPCi can print as much product as they want but it’ll be worthless if the pull rate aren’t boosted to past levels.

The sets you mentioned had somewhat decent pull rates while Prismatic Evolutions, along with every other post-Paradox Rift set barring Paldean Fates, has garbage pull rates due to TPCi listening to the complaints that scalpers and value-based collectors had regarding the past three SV sets’ pull rates.

I do think eventually the bubble will pop (god please let prices go back I miss the $80-90 gen 9 booster boxes), but a big difference I think from this bubble to the COVID-era one is that the gen 8 sets before brilliant stars honestly sucked. Rainbow rares were garbage and the CGI-generated shiny pokemon stopped being that cool after the first time. The only cards I could see absolutely collapsing in value are the god-awful gold-rare cards but most of them are already quite cheaper to their SIR counterparts.

I do hope that just as we got rid of hyper rares TPCI gets rid of gold rare cards; I feel like all of them (especially the stadiums) would look better as cool artwork

oof, well it's a start at least. Hopefully they figure things out sooner than later.

I haven’t seen pokemon cards in stores since before Christmas so it’s unlikely I’ll ever see this or anything that’s prismatic period and it sucks a lot cause this set is sick
