Well this is a surprise!
Pokemon has posted an unboxing video showing Terastal Festival ex will also feature Master Ball reverse holos! It was previously revealed the set would feature Poke Ball reverse holos.

Also, I get that Pokemon hasn't (yet) gone through what Sports cards do. 1 of 1, 1 of 10, etc, but the fact that some sets do have a red parallel, blue parallel, green parallel, zebra parallel, dragon scale parallel, etc variants of the EXACT same card, I can now say its only a matter of time before Pokemon does the same thing. THINK ABOUT IT.

It'll start with Base (regular)
Then Pokeball Parallel
Great Ball Parallel
Ultra Ball Parallel
Luxury Ball Parallel
Master Ball Parallel

What would be the repercussions if Pokemon goes down this road? More collectors? Less collectors? More scalpers?

I would like this. Makes a basic card fun. I would feel awful for master set collectors though…

I’m sorry but those pull rates do indeed suck. I still stand with the idea that no ARs were a terrible choice . At least there is no full art pokemon but still
I think one SIR a box is honestly best case scenario, like it lowers the price of all the cards and makesthem still pullable, plus master ball holos

wait….im Confused… Japanese booster boxes only have 3 reverse holos in the whole box? Reverse holo is taking Illustration rare level of hit? Or is the pokeball and master ball in addition to a “ball-less” reverse holo in other packs?

Frankly all I care about is the most basal design being affordable. Unless Tomokazu Komiya drew it, then those bastards better not make it hard to get or expensive

jp sets dont usually have reverse holos, it's just paper and holo foil for the most part

Aren't there SR trainers meaning that not every box has an sir?? Pretty bad if you get a box and all u get is some random trainer that no one cares about

I wonder how the english market will be affected by the master ball reverses all i know is umbreon gonna be hella expensive

I mean that particular scenario is always the case. SR japan is full art or above and you only get one per box . And that last bit is a lie 😉 every trainer including caretaker has a fan out there. But yeah anyways basically reverse holos are kinda substituting ARs. And obviously the rate for regular ex is up

Master set collectors HATE him!

So are we 100% whether the Prismatic Evolutions poke/master ball reverse holos will be like the ones shown above, or will they be like the Japanese 151 reverse holos? I’m seriously hoping for the 151 style!!

Dang. Looks like it will be either an SR Trainer or SAR Pokemon in a box. Hopefully a box with 1 of each or double hit boxes are still possible. Pretty weird that theres only 3 reverse holos in a box tho, I thought the Pokeball ones would be present in almost every pack and then 1 Masterball per box. Guess they're gonna be more special than we thought.

Unfortunate the original video isn't linked in the article, but yes, it looks like there will only be 3 reverse holos in each booster box. The packs without a reverse holo just have 7 regular cards, 2 holos and 1 RR or better.
