they usually try to do decks that were in the meta, I think moon was too randomWhy didn’t they make a roaring moon ex deck? It got 2nd and place and did better than miridion
“… and you might just get a get an important Knock Out by attacking with Squawkabilly ex!” I’m curious, did this actually happen in the tournament?? This is a very funny sentence either way but it would be even funnier if there was a Motivate kill at Worlds. Congrats on the worlds deck goatI've been reading this site since 2010 and never dreamed I would get the honor of having a worlds deck printed. Truly awesome!! ️
On the plus side of these unnamed decks, it’s only a matter of time until “New Deck 56” appears on one of these.i hate when they dont give the decks a name, the Japanese kid gets a pass cause he speaks a different language, but regidrago vstar? come on bro
I did a couple times vs fernandos iron thorns deck, because if they ko zapdos then you have to hit for 220 with miraidon, then you cleanup with squawks 20 dmg and get 2 free energy in play!“… and you might just get a get an important Knock Out by attacking with Squawkabilly ex!” I’m curious, did this actually happen in the tournament?? 1) There was already one Roaring Moon deck that was more privileged to get a print, they aim for variety;Why didn’t they make a roaring moon ex deck? It got 2nd and place and did better than miridion
True, but wasn’t the pattern usually:1) There was already one Roaring Moon deck that was more privileged to get a print, they aim for variety;
2) Miraidon as a mon and card is way too iconic to miss the opportunity;
3) Opening a Throns deck is a pretty mid experience both for kids (lack of variety of Mons) and kitchen table nostalgia players (the deck is just unfun for most), so I'd like to believe they wanted to equalize with a fan-favorite to boost sales of 4-packs.
I feel like he would have if he could. Maybe TPCI didn't let him because of age or time constraints?i hate when they dont give the decks a name, the Japanese kid gets a pass cause he speaks a different language, but regidrago vstar? come on bro
That’s a good point, but either way, the outcome is pretty lame for usI feel like he would have if he could. Maybe TPCI didn't let him because of age or time constraints?
I mean, in 2005 TPCi chose to highlight a fourth place Dark Tyranitar deck over google Cawthon's second place Dark Tyranitar/Electrode ex deck (Which I am salty about to this day, as it means we never got accessible World Championship reprints of my favorite sentient landmine and we need to shell out $30 a piece for heavily played copies. Although I'm not at that stage of life where I'd be building Delcatty/Electrode ex for the EX Block Format in-real-life anyways).True, but wasn’t the pattern usually:
Masters Winner
Masters 2nd
Senior Winner
Junior Winner
I think it’s cause they already had AB and didn’t want to show the same mon for both ngl
How do you know? Like a new card from it or whatBattle partners reveal tomorrow guys be ready
This is pretty much it. As fun as Turbo Moon is, they want variety.True, but wasn’t the pattern usually:
Masters Winner
Masters 2nd
Senior Winner
Junior Winner
I think it’s cause they already had AB and didn’t want to show the same mon for both ngl
