I just went to my PR. I pulled a Kyogre EX full-art, reverse Volcarona, and a Zoroark. My brother got the Darkrai EX FA, so we did pretty well. :)

This is easily my favorite English set right now. I love it. :)

Both of them look like Uncommons to me...#60 Umbreon and #61 Umbreon.

Regardless, Slurp Shakedown. Hilarious. And it's on Eelektross too boot. Totally weird haha. Pretty good Trainers and pretty good EXs in this set though. I'm fairly pleased.

I love EX art.

In terms of actual play, the EX cards come across as pretty stale. I wish they would have shaken the attack energy costs up a bit. Each EX card in this set requires one energy of its own type and one colourless to use its primary attack, and two of its own energy and one colourless to perform its secondary attack (apart from Darkrai, who only has the secondary attack). No EX apart from Darkrai appears to offer much strategic depth and they are all very offensively inclined cards, clearly designed as main attackers of a deck rather than support cards.

But I also love EX art and am glad there's a Kyogre EX, but Kyogre's so... plain :[

Yeah, the shiniez are awesome PMJ, awesome sauce.
And I agree with bacon, they are a bit stale, and there are alot of attackers (other than Darkrai) and no supporters, they will mainly be teched into decks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure only 1 card in this set was designed by sui. That's disappointing.

On the other hand, I do like how they used the same artwork from the Reshiram/Zekrom decks on Glaceon and Leafeon. It kind of looks like artwork from the DP artwork (or maybe that's just because it was designed by Ryo Ueda).

The new EXs look really cool but sent very exciting strategy wise, unless ur only strategy is to attack a bunch. Lol

These are pretty neat, but unfortunately for me I can't get to a Pre-Release :'(

Lots of these cards look pretty cool, but unfortunately I don't think I'll go to a pre-release. Maybe I can get a booster box.
 
I was really psyched about the pre-release since my last one was Unseen Forces, but it didn't work out for me to go.
If money permits, I will be going to a booster draft Sunday though! :D
I'll just have to rethink my strategies for drafting since this is completely different from Magic: The Gathering drafts...

(Oh, great and powerful Pokegods, please let me get a Darkrai!)
