It's called Plasma Blast because they want to finish the whole Sega Genesis/Mega Drive shindig.

Gotta say, not really into the name of "Plasma Blast" sounds really...generic to me. Not the name I would have used, but hey could be worse...could have named it Plasma....Plasma...ok the name is pretty lame...

That was the card I really wanted in a set! Tyranitar.

I agree, this is a bad name.

What sounds better?

Plasma blast booster box

Plasma Reign booster box

Plasma, oh god why are we still using plasma? Booster box
 
Obviously Plasma Box is a better name. I mean, Plasma Box booster box, or in short, Plasma Box box. There is also the "Plasma Box", so that adds to the confusion. The same joke you could use with the Xbox box, where you just give the ebay buyer an empty box that the xbox came in, because it's an Xbox box.

Can't wait for a Plasma plasma, although that would never happen.
 
I think it'd have been better to have Eelektross instead of Porygon Z on the art, mostly cause there's a sleeve art that has Liepard Bisharp and Eelektross. So it'd be less baffling why Pokemon with cards that aren't playable or holo rare got featured for the set. "Yeah!!! Liepard pack!!! I sure hope I get a Liepard out of it!!"
 
That deck box looks pretty cool. I also like the boxes from the previous posts as well. Awesome XD.:)
