(1) Battle Strength Decks: Virizion, Terrakion, Cobalion [2/10]

Haha you already know how excited I am for this going by my IM to you about them. It'll be interesting to see if these end up being a sub-set (as in, combining all decks into one set) or if they're just stand alone decks.
 
Yes! They aren't the typical first legendary cards that have low health and bad attacks! (palkia, dialga, anyone?)

plus 37 from Beginning Set

Pretty sure they will more likely split this set up to be like this:

Most of Beginning Set, some of the 1st BW set (more than likely leave out the broken ones such as Emboar, Pokemon Catcher and Max Potion to keep the format in check) will be in the April set.
For our Worlds Prerelease set, it will contain those 3 Musketeers Trio cards along with the rest of Japan's BW Set cards and perhaps a few Promos...

Thoughts?
 
I really wanted to see what japan's new black and white expansion is. Anyone know the dates for this?

For BW2? No, nothing yet. I've been checking all of my sources and then some daily since January, and nothing. If these end up combining to be a sub set, then we likely won't be seeing a set from Japan until July.
 
These go into BW2. I'd also be really surprised (and would be OK with it) if these three become the full-art chase cards for that second BW set.
 
These decks look awesome, what does the GGC for 100 atack do? Theres a special effect which it does and if its good it could make a great card, if its discard all energy then it sucks.


The card artworks look awesome, when I first saw them in the boxes in the top images I thought they were level X's as it looks like the picture is coming out of the frame and the art style looks like Level X's


I hope we do get the first black and wite set before nationals

i also had the same thought. i was like oh no not lvl x again but its more like single card legends.....or primes idk lol
 
Man those decks look awesome. I wonder if these cards will be featured in our sets like they have done a few times. Looks pretty cool XD.:)
 
New official artwork for the Musketeers is always nice. (And now we finally have an official reference for Virizion with its mouth open. No teeth?)

Anyway, the card artwork is really nice. The boxes look really ugly, though, with Cobalion's being an exception. The gray, dark cyan, and white works with the design because it doesn't look tacky.

Sorry, they haven't given us a clearer image (they being the official sites), and it's too hard to read the fine print on the Virizion image we've got right now. Hopefully we'll know soon enough.
 
Wow, the Musketeer Trio looks so cool! Hope the U.S. will get this! I'm no TCG player, but I sometimes buy the cards just for display.
