(1) First Card Images of 'EX Battle Boost' [5/15]

I do find the artwork for Tepig and Pignite cool. With the family all around it. I wonder if Emboar could be like Tepig and Pignite?
 
They look really cool! Serperior, Charizard and Rayquazza are my favorites.

PS: is Garchomp flying?

PPS: Some new cards included as well? If Tyranitar, Gengar, Swampert, Regirock, or Regice is not in it I will rage.

PPPS: Why do Reshiram and Zekrom have the same art as they did in their Japaneese promos and in the English ND set?
 
Wow, Serperior, Charizard, Tepig, and Pignite all blow me away. Excellent artwork for all of those cards.
 
Ugh Suddenly I find myself actually wanting this set printed in English... But I want X and Y Base Set in November as well... So torn.
 
Wow, that Charizard is absolutey incredible! The Reshiram and Zekrom kinda ticking me up thought..:/ Why not make a FA moltres and Zapdos instead? Or at least change the artowork or pick some exes that are accurally playable :/
 
Garchomp's like American Airlines plz!

I would find Charizard cool if it wasn't such a bad card, good thing my league organizers are in love with the thing, would be a good trade if we ever got the set.

Well, we already know the cards so all we can do is comment on the artwork and...

Holy...! That Charizard artwork is so realistic! Seriously, this is why I whine about Charizard not being a Dragon-type... That artwork just shows how much dragon Charizard is...

In fact, the artwork seems different in this cards... Serperior is very good too. Zoroark is shown in N's Castle ruins which is a cool detail... Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Garchomp actually flying! Dex entries are accurate after all...

But then, there's Reshiram and Zekrom EX which look no different than the previous print. Really disappointing... Also, if there will be new cards, maybe they will make Regice and Regirock or even Arceus-EX, though I'm not very hopeful on that... Another thing I wondered when this was announced was if it will have shinies... Shinies are reprints anyway, so it would be a chance to include Cobalion, for example, to complete the Musketeer trio...

Another interesting note is that the cards seem to have no rarity... which is weird...
 
About time we get a Garchomp that's actually flying...

I want to see the artwork for the exact same reason.

So, so far it looks like Call of Legends as far as artwork goes - like they're going with a bunch of new artwork styles.

I seriously couldn't tell that was a Charizard until I looked closer. That is one of the greatest arts I have EVER seen. Tokiya is amazing.

A bunch of other interesting styles too. It's like they aren't afraid to experiment like they did with CoL, and the result is spectacular. After the Charizard, I like the Toxicroak, and the Garchomp (for the exact same reason Don said), and, strangely enough, the Hydreigon - even though it was drawn by Komiya (I don't like his style).

Terrakion is a colossal derp and Reshiram and Zekrom EX are lol.
