:C makes me pretty sad that they take a promo like that Pikachu, an action point series card which is worth 120+, and shove it into a blister.
I suppose we'll see the same with Great Raichu in due time as well, either in a blister or crammed into a set.

I've been pretty upset about that as well. But maybe I'm just being cynical because my card isn't as cool anymore, I don't know. =/
A better decision would have been to make the card a Player Rewards prize or something. I think something like that would have been much more welcome than sticking such a valuable card in a retail blister.

i don't understand you guys... did you really want to get so much points for just a little card?? I think it is really good they make these cards available more easily.

You can only get the points if your in Japan and part of the Players Club, and it takes a lot of matches to get the points. So I was already peeved when they were planning on putting Pikachu in a blister, but also took Darkrai and Cresselia whom have a collectors value of 500+ for the pair due to the amount of points needed for them and their rarity.
It's not necessarily about the accessibility but the collectability since thats what those cards were originally intended for. Collecting and worth value. They're essentially a trophy due to the points required.

Sure, Pikachu gets a 100 BP move, but do they really need to make ANOTHER Pikachu? Why can't they just scrap Pikachu and get a new mascot...like Piplup is now rapidly becoming.
...oh no, I actually like Piplup. On the other hand, have Pikachu stay the mascot. Then I won't have to hate Piplup like I do Pikachu.

If Wobbuffet had an attack that did damage based on the Retreat Cost of the Defending Pokémon, I'd play it. *sighs*

Pulled the normal Wobuffet from a HGSS booster a few minutes ago, and I have to say, this one is much better.
I think im buying this when the price is €8 (its €12 now)

I remember when the previous blisters came out for Arceus, I found the Cresselia and Darkrai blisters at my local shop within the week. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
And I'm totally happy about these cards not having a point system and whatnot It gives collectors a chance too! I don't play so I'm glad that I and everyone else can get these cards easily ^__^
