(1) September's Japanese Sets: 'Hail Blizzard' and 'Psycho Drive' [6/21]

Interestingly enough, when I loaded this page, said article wasn't there. I then hit Refresh 3 seconds later and it was.
I apparently have good timing.

As for the starter decks - joy, Mewtwo is back again, and ready to take some names. Kyurem's pretty cool too, so seeing these two guys that I like as images for the starter decks pleases me.

Although I do wonder...what's Kyurem's full art going to look like?

Anyways what I am excited about is Mewtwo is going to be in the set, meaning the set will have Pokemon that aren't from the 5th Gen. I am looking forward to that.
 
Swee~t, older Pokemon in newer sets. I haven't been around Pokemon TCG long enough to experience a set that released older Pokemon (I've been playing since HGSS UL came out...) so this'll be awesome =D

Gyarados needs to make a return. He just hasn't been the same since Stormfront...
 
Interesting to note about Mewtwo's booster art. Will we be getting more lost zone gameplay? Then again it could just be Shadow Ball or Aura Sphere.

Here's hoping they make a descent Kingler.

And for that matter, I wish they had continued the Prime, or at least Legendary cards. We didn't get to see something like a Mew/Mewtwo or a Heatran/Regigigas or whatever random Legendary combo you can come up with. The art was so terrible awesomeness. And they can do some really cool legendary cards with Unova, too. Reshiram/Zekrom and whatnot.
 
Psycho Drive...that's a pretty amazing set name.

Hail Blizzard, on the other hand...um...well, it's just...how should I put this?

Man, Croatia(yeah, I live there -.-) didn't even get Black and White set, and they are already planning this?? o_O man, this is too much for me! But anyways, I look forward to Mewtwo FA! itz gonna bbe eppicc :D

Gyarados is in HGSS so technically it's pretty decent, just because it's not as great as it's Stormfront counterpart doesn't mean that it's unplayable. As for the topic at hand, I'm glad to see that older Pokemon that aren't in Gen V are making a return to the TCG especially Mewtwo. Sure we already have old Pokemon in the HGSS sets but still more old Pokemon ain't that bad.

At least give us a tier 1 or 2 Venusaur that matches up with how good Charizard was in MD-On. Sure it wasn't tier 1 due to SP's but it was still a pretty solid deck with Ninetales allowing you to draw like crazy. As for Mewtwo I remember when I used to dominate with it back in DP-On running Mother Gengar (Nidoqueen/Gengar) that was a fun deck awhile back. I still miss it... :)

I have to say, FA Charizard would look pretty epic.(And this is coming from someone who isn't really a charizard fan)

But I'm looking forward to what they'll do with some of the old cards.(hopes for full art absol, but that will never happen)
