Opinion. That's what I think. And judgement. It all comes down to that. I know a guy people don't think is hot, but thinks he is himself. Let's say his name is... Shiny Suicune. Yeah. That's his name.scampy said:

It all has to do with your preferences. And preferences are controlled by where you grow/grew up, what you do, who you friends are, and lots of other things.
But talking about preferences, isn't that just something what makes you say you like or hate something to get more change to survive?

It is art IMO. I think art is anthing that was thought about and made into a visual form.
Art could be the placing of broccoli on a plate.
Art isn't splattering or random scetches on a paper.
This is a good question, but I think it's a matter of opinion. As such, I will state mine, without the fear of it being argued.
To me, pretty much anything can be an art form. Very often people express their feelings through literature, dramatic and visual arts and music. I also think that art is beauty. For example, a beautiful painting I would consider art, but I would also consider a masterful piece of architecture to also be art.

Anyways, I find art to really be anything. I could just be a plain drawing, scribbles or colors, anything. Maybe to some people, art is a masterpiece, a work of beauty, any brilliant and fantasticsculptue. To others, art, just like I said above, could just be some pics. drawings, scribbles and stuff. To me, art is anything. And I don't believe you can't call art "ugly" or "beautiful." Everyone has their own opinion.

I would define art as an expression or creation made to stimulate someone else. This could be in a negative way or a positive way, but thats the only way I can define it.
By expression, I pertain to dance. Dancing is an art, or art form.
Creation can refer to music, movies, "artwork", paintings, etc.
I dont think anyone creates art without the purpose to stimulate someone. Everyone is looking for a reaction.....good or bad, most times good.

I'm not exactly sure what art is, there is no way that it is completely opinion, because everybody finds certain pieces of art beautiful. There is something in our minds that registers beauty, and that part of our mind seems to be in sync with most others.
