I would say that Charlotteville is in central Virginia. I run the league there and it's quite the busy place on Fridays. We have monthly sanctioned tournaments. You can visit our website here: http://jeffersongym.wordpress.com/

You can find out a lot there. If you want you can alsi attend Warrenton BR. You can (hopefully) meet a lot of people. Me, Shadowwiidragon, eevee (I think), and Gliscor will be there.
 
Prereleases only happen one or two weeks before the official release of a set. So in other words, our next Prerelease is sometime in late October if Noble Victories comes out around the time it's supposed to.

Whenever there is a Prerelease, it's a sanctioned event, so it's not in a league.
 
Yeah, use the link Glaceon provided to find out when PR's and such are and where they should be. They will most likely posted by early or mid october
