And I think I'm in the Masters Division....??? I'm 25, getting back into Pokemon after a long layoff (last set I played with was Neo, lol).

Anyways, this is the deck I was thinking about running, and wouldn't mind some feedback:

Poke' (18)
4-4 Accelegor
2-1-2 Gothitelle
2-1 Solosis/Reuniclus
2 Darkrai EX

Supporter (11)
4 N
4 Juniper
3 Cheren

Trainers (19)
4 Catcher
4 Rare Candy
4 Level Ball
3 Dark Patch
2 Ultra Ball
2 Pokemon Communication

Energy (12)
8 Darkness
4 DCE

Idea is the classic Accelegor/Gothitelle Lock, but I also use Darkrai as my "finisher". Reuniclus is there b/c whenever Gothitelle/Darkrai takes a punch, I can move 80 of it off each turn with Deck and Cover. Combo this with N, and it seems to frustrate my opponents, because whenever they DO get a hit in, it's normally all gone in 1-2 turns.

I settled on Cheren over Bianca because I could never get Bianca to consistently give me the cards I needed. My deck is reliant on thinning, which late game Cheren and Juniper do very well.

I've given thought to adding Mew EX...but I don't have any. So that won't work. But, the deck seems to be pretty consistent, and pretty fast. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

don't run reuniclus. its a 3rd stage 2 which boggs down the deck immensely. maybe run a 1-1 musharna from black and white.

and max out all of the supporters. for more draw and consistent draws to keep deck and covering the whole game
4 juniper
4 n
4 cheren
4 bianca

one of my friends at my local has built this deck, and it really needs Mew EX to be good, here's some suggestions (its not exactly 60, its just things I'd recommend running.):

Pokemon:
3-4 Mew EX
3-3 Accelgor
3-1-3 Gothitelle
2-3 Darkrai EX

Energy:
4 Double Colorless
4 Prism Energy
4 Blend [psychic/Dark[ and or 4 dark energy

Trainers:
4 N
3 Juniper
2 Bianca
3 Cheren
4 Pokemon Catcher
1 Super Rod
4 Level ball
2 Ultra ball
3 Switch
2 Pokemon Communication
2-3 Tool Scrapper
3 Rare Candy
2 Energy Switch
2 Super Scoop up [tech to pull mew out of the active]

So the obvious combo is getting an accelgor, gothitelle and darkrai on the bench while Mew is your main attacker, Mew will deck and cover, and then you bring up gothitelle to trainer lock, making your opponent not able to switch, they play a supporter then pass, and then you drop another mew, but Mew can also function as darkrai and night spear things, an opposing Mewtwo Ex trying to KO mew, pretty much everything, and mew Ex makes it so that you don't have to keep dropping a stage one to perform the attack.

You never max out bianca, more than 2 is a dead draw.

Thanks for the help, but I don't have any Mew's, and I won't get them before BRs. But Mewtwo isn't a big deal for me anyway. 1 Deck and Cover followed by a Night Spear is KO.

I don't like Bianca at all...playtested with it and found it to be either a Cheren, or worthless. So i'll just stick with Cheren.

I like the Musharna idea, I'll try running that instead of Reuniclus. But Reuniclus doesn't slow me down as much as you think b/c I can Level/Ultra Ball for everything I need from that line. And I like the healing aspect....but Forewarn makes sense for this deck too.

If players around the area are nice they'll let you borrow cards, I was able to borrow practically my entire deck for Battle Roads.

don't attack with darkrai. it looses your ability to retreat. and in this deck you will get nd a LOT in late game. so bianca is maxed to 4 because of that. and to make it more consistant, make your gothitelle line to 4-1-3. and everything is good. To add to this, 4 communication and 1 ultra ball.

well if you use himk to attach and if one is prizes, well thats it for thr free retreat!

Could you use Rare Candy to pull up Reuniclus and skip Level 1?

yeah but its a waste. why would you need to move damage?? youre opponent can't attack when the lock is going.

What if it is not prized? You can take multiple KOs with Darkrai. It's useful. I don't know if it's worth the space though. I think you should drop the Reuniclus. As said before me, they [probably] won't be able to attack anyways. Also, Mew EX would be a nice addition. Try to borrow some at BRs. Don't be shy to ask people and just return the cards to them after the tournament and you should be fine. Everyone is nice in Pokémon TCG (well, most people are).

I tried a 2-2 Musharna line with this and didn't care for it. I would always end up with Munna in the prizes or could get one but not the other. I run a 3-1-3 Venusaur DEX + 4 Rare Candy that works rather well for search power.

@Roronoa Zoro yeah the darkrai is a must if you run goth for free retreat, but its a VERY rare attacker.

@JadeEspeon i tried the 1-1 musharna and it worked fine. but it you run goth it its going to be very boggy(on paper) but it may not be so in a game.

I attack with Darkrai to finish up the big attackers quickly, or to get multiple KOs (Deck and Cover, Catcher, Night Spear to hit bench). I've found that when I only Deck and Cover with the lock, the game lasts a LONG time, and I run the risk of consistently getting out Accelegor later in the game b/c I've expended all my resources (Level Ball and such).

I understand the Mew, and when I get him, he will be in this deck. I'll try asking to borrow it, but until then, that's why Darkrai takes a hit. No one OHKOs him except Terrakion. And no one OHKOs Gothitelle except Mewtwo and maybe a Mew. In those situations I just continue to Deck and Cover or Catcher out those guys as my Priority 1 until it's "safe" to remove the lock.

But I think the longer the game goes with this deck, the more in trouble I can get, especially if I don't thin my deck sufficiently. That's why I thought Reuniclus. If I get in trouble finding Accelegors, I can move damage around to keep Gothitelle or Darkrai alive longer, and then Deck and Cover it all away.

I still haven't tried Musharna, and that might help with my concern late game. But I think this deck needs to strike faster as opposed to just a Deck and Cover.
