1.) If my friend has a SPECIAL Metal Energy attached to his MT Aggron, and does 40 damage to itself, would he only do 30 to himself?

2.) Which is worth more, Empoleon holo, or Empoleon rev. holo.

My friend doesn't believe me that rev.holos cost more, so I'm asking this question to prove it to see whose right. Thank you in advance!

1. Not sure, but I think so, as the card doesn't say it has to be your opponent's attack.

2. I think rev. holos are worth about the same as regular holos.

1) I beleive metal reduces damage from both pokemon, so I think it would reduce the damage done to it. need to check out the new metals first.
2) They're worth the same. Rev. holos are rarier, but they are worth the same as they're holo equivelents.

Thank you guys! I'm kind of amazed how the rev.holos are worth the same. I thought that because you can find regular Empoleon in the deck that the rev.holo would be worth more.

They are worth a bit more (the same as the normal card + 1 common/uncommon/rare, depending on how bad you want them, lol), but not many players care about them so the difference isn't big. I'm one of those guys who really cares about the looks of the deck, so my Drag ex d deck runs all rev holos, but I'm having too much of a hard time to get holo Boost Energies so I gave up on making Boostcatty all rev holo. >_>
It's a different story with the deck-packed cards I think. The difference between those and the rev version should be bigger, since the normal version is easily obtainable.

1. If you use the new one i think it reduces opponents only but i am not sure haven't checked. If its a friendly match disregarding the rules and imprints on the new card you guys could apply the old text if you want since your friends. (I'm not teaching anything wrong. I'm just saying its up to them whether what to do.)

2. Normal Holographics are much expensive if its in collectors' price. but as they say they are just priced the same.

For the first question, that's the only question I've ever had lots of trouble with. I ask a judge and I have to wait five minutes for them to go and ask the guy in charge of the tournament. So the majority says that it reduces damage to yourself, so I think you people might be right.
