I am going to skip the preparing part. I got there at about 11. Sat and talked, let some people borrow cards, and made some trades. Pairings didn't get up until 12:30. We had 35 players which was enough for the kicker. 6 Rounds with top 8 cut. I am playing Stage One Rush with Cinccino.
Round 1: Theresa K. Audino/Zekrom/Pachi/Exeggutor
I had a pretty good start. I got 3 energies on Donphan and kept hitting for weakness on most of her pokemon. She had 7 energy on audino and flipped 2 heads so my donphan lived.

Round 2: Colleen ? Yanmega/Donphan/Dragons
This one was fairly rough from the beginning. It was a prize trading until we had about 3 each. I couldn't keep anything alive long enough to do anything.

Round 3: Kim T. Meganium/Tangrowth
Good start and then Donphan with 3 energies. He couldn't get a Meganium out at all so I kept taking prizes on the basics.

Round 4: Christian C Gothitelle/Mismagius/Jirachi
I have previously not done well against him. I was truly worried about this match. I am not sure on many of the details of this one. On most of the turns he would catcher and strand me active but i had either Junk Arm or Switch almost every turn to stop that. I was ahead 1-4 and he used jirachi to take 2 prizes on yanmas. I then KO'ed Jirachi with Donphan.

Round 5: Chris(??) Reshiram/Emboar/RDL
Well in this round i forgot prizes at the start. I had not searched my deck yet so it was just a prize penalty. He started lone tepig and i had 2 Phanpy and a Yanma. He got a reshiram out with energy to KO my first Donphan. He didn't get an emboar until late game. We ended up 2-2 towards the end. He dropped RDL attached 3 energy and passed. I junipered and he was really nice and let me attach an energy to donphan before i discarded. I drew into catcher to bring up RDL, retreated to cinccino, dropped another basic and Cinccino gave me the win.

This was my hardest matchup of the day. Tornadus is a completely cruel to Donphan. We traded prizes with her taking more than me in the end.

I get to play her back-to-back. In the last one i made a few misplays with Zekrom. Christian told me those mistakes and i fixed them in these. I was able to get good starts in both games and set up Donphans and Zekrom. Added damage with EQ on Zekrom and was able to hit Tornadus for weakness. I won both games.

By this time i was beat and it showed. Int the first game I forgot prizes and realized it as i searched with collector. We then went on to game 2. This started slightly better. I couldn't get completely set up and tornadus just walled.

I placed 4th and got the 2 packs. Nothing good in those. Overall it was a fun day. I got a championship point so i was quite happy.
