Jwittz's Yanmegazone had KYJ in it. i'm only a senior, so that's all i can contribute.

Oh look, the Dutch Nationals winner made it in there (David Meulenbroeks). That's pretty unexpected.
Also this top is looking very solid for Mega/Zone.

So I didn't actually hear what won until
http://www.pokemonworldchampionships.com/2011/results/tcg/#2_0_0

I can't believe magneboar won. And that #2 was a total rogue. And that none of the top 4 used Yanmega.

With a flippy metagame, anyone could win. :p

Also, it was a Reshiboar with a Magnezone tech, not technically a Magneboar.

^ Remember that David said he minimized the amount of flips and didn't even use reversal though.

Also, It was more Reshiboar with Magnezone and RDL as heavy hitters/draw.

I still cannot grasp the idea behind the Rogue deck completely. Then again, it being a deck no one had known about gave it the element of surprise.

He basically wins if he gets out those two stage 2s, because he just uses whatever is best to tank with, and makes it impossible for the other player to take prizes.

Which is why the two people in T16 without reversals made T2....

The other 14 did. Last time I checked, 14 > 2.

Also, the winner did hit a heads on his sudden death flip. The game could have gone either way.

Finally, it takes two to tango. That means that they may not have used flippy cards but their opponents did which they could have hit a ton of tails. I'm not downplaying the credibility of the winners but it is a fact that this format is flippy which means anyone could have won if the flips gone their way.

What i meant was that the people who relied the least on flips did the best

Which i thought was cool, when I finally got the list for David Cohen's deck I was surprised to see he used 2 cleffa considering he made it a big thing to not rely on flips, I almost thought he'd use 2 Manaphys instead.

Also google's deck is so epic

@piplup: Doesn't stop the opponent from hitting or missing their flips which could have made them won or lost. The format is flippy anyway. Well at least catcher comes out, now the only major flips would be the opener and Cleffa.

@CFOUR
Cleffa > Manaphy as long as you dont play three or four of them :/
